Visited the restaurant on New Year's Day by driving the wrong way up the mountain on the back of a converted piste basher. The restaurant is a lovely stone building that you can ski to during the day, but in the evening you have to take the alternative method of travel. We had a very tasty rustic Italian meal, washed down with local Trentino wine. The staff were very friendly and attentive and looked after us very well. For many of our group, this was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

We have a second home near Folgaria and Da GIorgio is one of our favourite restaurants, since many years. The service is always very fast, the lady who manages it, is very kind and, last but not least, the polenta dishes (with goulash, with deer etc.) are really good and come with a reasonable price. Their "local" red wine comes in an open jug, but it is much better than what you'd expect from an open jug. However, be prepared for disappointment, if you choose other courses, for instance, spaghetti or desserts. Indeed, sometimes (not always) they are rather dull, or even hardly acceptable. We think this explains the negative reviews.

If you want to have a wonderful lunch or dinner in a very characteristic cottage this is the place for you. I went with my family and we had a wonderful lunch into this small "heidi home" very high quality of products and home made pasta!

The pizza here was better than the Scoiattolo pizzeria nearby, the decor inside was classic mountain lodge wood and there were quite a few different types of beer on tap. The desert I had was a creme brulle which was nice and creamy. Service was courteous and quick and the price was in the norm. The only minus was that they didn't have home made ice cream but rather factory made ice cream like cornetto and others which you can buy in the supermarket.

We were in this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. Place is beautiful with a peaceful outdoor space with several tables also for small groups (8-10 people).In spite of the fact the service was extremely slow and a bit inattentive, the food (pasta arrived after 40min) was extremely good and well cooked. Cake with Vezzena cheese and fried mushrooms as well as âtagliatelle with porcini mushroomsâ were very good.It is better to book in advance to get a better service and enjoy the place.

Often stop there for coffee or apres ski drink, always thought it was just paninis and cakes, never thought to look at the menu!Eat lunch there today for the first time.The special was probably the best Conilio(Rabbit) with Polenta and Fungi that I've ever had(I've had a lot).The table next to me had some stunning looking pasta(huge portions)Always very friendly.

We loved this place! Family owned and a very friendly staff! The pizza was delicious and the service was quick. Also, the restaurant opens at 6pm, which is early compared to most restaurants in Italy. Highly recommended!
