The restaurant is located away from the main town of Parma in a very peaceful setting. It is a very old Monastery converted into a restaurant, so the history shows in the beautiful old buildings. We visited this restaurant as part of a Trafalgar tour group. We were given a tour and short history of the buildings before our welcome drinks.The food, wine and entertainment were great. We were also given a demonstration on how pasta was made, which made it look too easy. We all enjoyed the night immensely & I would recommend this restaurant if you are staying in the Parma area.

Grazie. Capitare quasi per caso in un locale a pranzo e rimanere piacevolmente stupiti è ormai un evento raro. Il Cerchio è un vero e proprio bistrot, pochi tavoli e minimali ma curati nei dettagli. Personale gentile e cordiale, titolare-chef creativo e professionale. Abbiamo iniziato con una favolosa pizza gourmet, dove la straordinaria lievitazione la rende leggera e digeribile come una nuvola, ma finemente complessa nel gusto. Da lì in poi un vortice di emozioni culinarie come il riso al Parmigiano Reggiano con katsuobushi e sashimi di sgombro fresco che completa la sua cottura con il calore della portata. Carta dei vini in piena evoluzione ma già molto interessante con ampio spazio per i naturali. Dessert creativi ed innovativi. Rapporto qualità /prezzo più che ottimo (spesso inferiore a proposte di locali del territorio qualitativamente molto meno interessanti). Bene, molto bene.

Really lovely regional food served with a smile.We enjoyed the roast beef (thinly sliced on rocket), chicken (Marco Polo style), risotto marinara, margarita pizza, mixed salad. Everything was lovely: tomatoes sweet and ripe, motzarella fresh and sumptuous. Simple but gorgeous. Solid wine list. Highly recommended.

We stumbled across this bar when trying to find our B&B-we were starving hungry and the restaurant was not yet open however the bar was busy with locals and the bar manager produced a lovely plate of procuito ham and cheeses and then a slice of roasted vegetable lasagne-delish.-

Visited for lunch on a perfect day. The ambience was lovely and the staff very helpful. We stuck to fish and both our courses were excellent. This must represent one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We will be going back again before we return to the UK.

After long bike ride we were very hungry, but as usually in Italy the restaurants were closed and it was around 6pm. My husband found this place while i was feeding our little girl. The staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to. We ordered big sandwich and some ravioli with Latte-beer :) everything was very tasty and in very nice ambience. We took away some more food with us for later :) yummy - really worth recommending :)

Usually I vist Italy few times a year. Mostly for bussiness trips but also vacations. I have tried many pizzas so far in different restaurants in Rome, Milan, Venice, small towns of Tuscany like Montepulciano, San Gimminiano and Asciano but NONE of them was as tasty and delicious like the one served in Da Antonio. I especially recommend Salsiccia Picante with Buffalo Mozzarella and special anise flavoured sausage but whatever You choose You wont leave the place unsatisfied. Owners are very friendly and carefull, making the atmosphere inside very relaxing. Always willing to answer all your questions and make you feel comfortable and full ;) I recommend the place with all my heart.Mr. Czachowski, we would like to express our sincere thanks for your feedback. Capisco che la simpatia non si può comprare. Certo è che, alcune volte, è una sensazione a pelle. Questo deve essere successo, perchè il servizio è stato scadente, svogliato, quasi ostile. Sarà stata anche colpa mia? Il pasto comunque è stato nella norma, ma quella sensazione di essere appena sopportato ha condizionato tutta la serata: peccato.
