We really looked forward to eating here having struggled up the steep hill in the midday sun. Only to find it closed despite the supposed open hours on Trip Advisor. They told us they decided to close today.Dear Mick626, We are very sorry that restaurant was closed when you came. Unfortunatly we had a familiar urgency and we coul not find a substitute in short time. We can image your disappoiment and we apologize for it. An albergo with restaurant near Silvignano. Very tasty Umbrian food. We ordered bruschetta; a regional flat pasta dish with cheese and vegetables; grilled lamb; grilled vegetables; desserts and coffee. Everything was very flavourable. The waitress was delightful and helpful. The bill came to 50 Euros including 1/2 litre of wine and water.

I went to the place because they had Internet access, but found a great place to enjoy the local food and wine, and some welcome English, since I have virtually no Italian. I enjoyed the experience, ambiance, the food (limited menu) and conversation with the owners. It is just off the main highway, and half way between Spoleto and Tervi.

With a wide choice of tartar or cooked meat cuts...yet thereâs also a variety or primi & secondis and we opted for truffled pasta (troncini and fagozza if i recall) while the kids shared the polo in yoghurt curry sauce, and a plate of fusilli (not exactly but type of) carbonara. All excellent. Surprisingly they cleaned-up the polo first! The setting inside is spacious and elegant yet not formal. Good wine selection (Prosecco was pleasant). Generous portions. Very nice and genuinely caring service. All reasonably priced. What else? Net definitely worth a try.

My husband and I came here with a friend and have never forgotten this place.The owner came to the table without giving menu's. Our friend told him: surprise us!He instantly came up with things to make suggesting a few starters, two different pastas to taste, a large quantity of grilled meat with truffel and oven potatoes and a choice of dessert.Every single thing that he brought us was delicious, tasteful and made with the heart.Also the price was in perfect balance with quantity and quality. But honestly for the food that I've got there I would have paid anything without complaining.Go there and let them surprise you!

We were at le Casaline 5 years ago and returned with great pleasure. The food is consistently excellent, the service friendly and efficient and it was a pleasure to meet again the gentlemen who has served us 5 years ago. Very nice location, beautiful terrace and great views. Again a real pleasure

We have eaten at this recently opened Osteria/ enotecca for supper, lunch and occasional breakfast eight times in March and April. One evening meal was very good indeed as were two breakfasts. The coffee is good, but cappuccinos were not. But three other evening meals were very disappointing. Dry main courses and warmed up pasta, i.e. not freshly cooked were the main problems. The service was variable, sometimes ok, sometimes indifferent and even disdainful. Cappuccinos at most recent breakfast were served with longlife milk and stale cornetti. A great shame because when it is good it is very good. We will not go back until we hear they have got their act together.NeedDear Highbury19,thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad that you have come to our osteria 8 times.. the problem is that we do not remember You! Are You sure you have reviewed the right place? We have this strong doubt also because your statements are not correct: we never serve warmed pasta and our cornetti with homemade jam are always fresh as well as the milk. We are very sorry because maybe you have confused our osteria with some other place, However, we invite you to come and visit us as soon as possible. Our best regards.
