Went there for a friends surprise birthday party and real surprise was as we arrived it looked fantastic and as the food came it was even better Great customer service wonderful food and even better friendly customer very happy ambiance Food was something else really authentic tasty and very healthy Meat was cooked so well that it melted in our mouths and tenderly flavoured Lamb chops were really tasty and well cooked After we enjoyed the food we had to go into their Shisha lounge great ambiance and very accommodating staff whom set the Shisha to individual taste highly recommend itHomous was very traditional taste and the cocktails were to die for

My husband and I visited The Kitchen on Friday (6.9.19) for a little date night. We had walked past it a few times in the past and always said we wanted to try it. The food was A-MA-ZING. We shared the Calamari and Arancini balls for starters. Both of which were excellent, not a rubbery squid in sight, and the sweet chilli sauce was so good. My husband had the salmon which he said was the best salmon he has ever eaten. Perfectly cooked with super crispy skin. I had the pork belly. Which again was beautifully cooked soft meat and super crispy skin. Staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for a lovely date night.Thank you for your fantastic review Katie. Glad you had a great night at The Kitchen. Look forward to seeing you again soon

Havenât been in a while and to be honest it has become a bit of a disappointment, itâs still cozy but the atmosphere has been lostThe waitress seemed totally disinterested and as for the waiter who brought the food he seemed more interested in the group of guyâs sitting on the other side who he seemed to know, couldnât even give the dishes to the right people even when we told him as he wasnât paying attention The food is ok but is there a new chef? As it seems to have lost a bit of its spark, and the portion sizes have become small, a handful of chips at most , and as good as the cheesecake was any smaller and you would need a search party to find it!! It used to be good value but we felt a little short changedBarking only has one restaurant of this type and itâs sad to see that itâs falling from the standard it used to have
