Huge pizzas, nice modern decoration, good service, large modern toilets. Restaurant and Bar are separated, but when busy you can have food everywhere and of course on the terrace.

The best pastry cake shop in the village. Visit us for a dessert after dinner, for a good croissant at breakfast or for an afternoon break with home made cakes and a lot of different ice cream flavours.

had apres ski coffee and cake twice. Coffee lovely. Cake good. Waiter ok but bit miserable, eg had 3 x glasses of tap water. "My boss wouldn't give you these!"Decent location at foot of slope.Thank you so much for coming to Genziana to taste our great coffee and home made cakes. We hope to see you again, hopefully to drink something more delicious than tap water; we have many more drinks to taste :)

Within a ski marathon with friends we entered Viel Dal Pan. A gem within the Dolomites. A blend of design and calm - yet informal - totally unexpected when you take a ski pause and you are used to enter crowded "rifugios". We were welcomed by a soft pastry with a delicate pumpkin cream. We then tried the Canederli in Brodo the traditional bread dumplings in bouillon. The bouillon was limpid, authentic and tasty as the one I used to eat for Xmas at home in Bologna. If you value a restaurant from the bread, then VdP confirms its top rates, home made, innovative and authentic. I then tried the egg in a delicious soft celery cream with a slice of Truffle from Trentino, inspiringly squisito.I then had to go back skiing so I could't exceed but I did gave a glance to the kitchen where the young chef Ivan Matarese was preparing his creations with passion and superb alchemy, definitely a very nice surprise.

great kitchen and technics, nice service. From simple soups to hand made pasta, Although we haven't tried from the menu the Speciality are Steaks cooked in the high temerature ovens.....and the wines selection. Owner is a plury decorated somelier. Superb desserts. Resonabile prices considering you are in one of the best spot in the dolomites.
