Well have to say the food here can be rated as one of the best in the area and well worth the visit. must have been 5 or 6 times in recent times however on each occasion the bill has differed from the menu. To correct this we take a disposable menu and compare the bill. its either sloppy till work or something else. Anyway if you check your bill thoroughly the food is great

We ordered a meal here to eat in the Victoria Works Pub. Their flyer offers "Free Puppadums", and the server begrudgingly offered to give us "one". The curry sauce was more like Chip Shop curry than an Indian, and some of the chicken had a tang to it. On the flip side, the portions were large, in fact the nan bread was not much smaller than a football field. That does remind me though of a line in a film where some prisoners are told the bad news that their meal was to consist of horse manure; the good news being that there was lots of it.I wouldn't go here by choice, but if nothing else is available, then it will at least keep you alive.There is a much better take out on the main road, I can't recall the name, but it has an Italian sounding mane, and does kebabs, pizzas, fish chips etc.... We had a snack there and it was good.

This is a fantastic restaurant Believe me if you like proper curry then you will love this place. As good as the very best Indian restaurants we have visited and we are no strangers to Indian cooking. No colourings and powdered chilli just a really fresh taste and juicy meat.Highly recommended.

Friendly efficient staff. A very varied menu. The food was well presented and of a very high quality. Reasonably priced. This was our first visit but certainly it our last.

Alcester is a small town in England. While we were there we ate one of our dinners at this restaurant. The decor was good, the service was great and the food was fantastic. The bill did not flatten my wallet either. Highly recommend this as your first choice in Indian food when looking for hidden gem places to eat.Many thanks for your review. when two of you order lamb curries and they arrive as chicken curries the managers response was the chef only cooked what was on the written down order so it is not his fault I said well obviously the order was wrote down wrong there was no apology and saidHe would replace them with lamb and also replace the non-breads and chips which came with them when he brought the curryâs out he only bought one naan bread and one order of chips I said where is my naan bread and where are my chips his reply was I only took one portion of chips away To which I replied yes but my chips was on the plate and then we had a confrontation because he wouldnât replace the chips and says okay Iâll replace the chips and then I will go and replace your Naan bread no apology was offered and he just expected me to sit there while everybody else was eating just looking at a plate of curry so I just gave it him back and told him to take it away to sum it up the waiter couldnât get the order right first time the manager couldnât get the order right the second timeThe manager should not be in that position if he has no man management skills people skills and low customer relationship skills

My friends and sister enjoyed another wonderful meal last night. Loads of poppadoms with dips. My Jaluri Shahi Kurma was perfect with lots of king prawns, chicken and prawns. Great to be able to bring your own wine and good value overall. Friendly waiters makes this the best place for a great night.

Itâs our favourite indian restaurant in the midlands. The menu offers the usual indian dishes as well as many Nepalese dishes too. Itâs the Nepalese influence that makes it special. Skilfully spiced curries, using fresh ingredients and all served by lovely, friendly people. Always welcoming and we never leave without taking a takeaway home too. They now serve a draught Cobra IPA which goes really well with the food!
