Rasoi Food Ville is just off the lane next to the turning for Sydney Point. The food here is tasty fresh and very reasonably priced.The lunch menu has Gujarati thali with one sweet and one farsan both of which were very tasty.We can enjoy fully all the food otherwise sometimes thalis with too many sweets and farsan become confusing and I can just about manage to taste everything but eat nothing. Dinner ,menu can be different everyday but fixed ,we ate traditional Maharashtrian varieties as there was a large group order. The Maharashtrian dishes were also good . The food is comfortingly familiar with phulkas and green vegetables like bhindi cabbage etc.There can be quite a rush if there are large group bookings so go early to eat in peace. It is very near to Ravine Hotel so we had the best of both worlds

Purohit's Namaste is part of the famous Purohit's Group in Panchgani who also have a Resort which is opposite this Restaurant and a popular Lunch Home as well that serves Gujarati Thali which is very nearby and opposite the famous Lucky Restaurant. This is a fairly new Restaurant at a very good location on the main road right next to the Post Office and has good signage and visibility. Although the actual Restaurant is very small, they have taken over an open area outside the Restaurant where they have put up a Shamiana & placed plastic Tables & Chairs for customers to be seated. The building is part of a Shopping Centre Area, but a few cars can be parked outside the Restaurant or in the adjacent Pay & Park area. They also have a small enclosed seating area with 4 tables to seat max 16 customers, but most patrons prefer to sit in the open area, as it has a better ambience. They basically serve all Vegetarian South Indian Snacks & Food, all of which is freshly prepared & tasty. The service is quite prompt and the rates are very reasonable as well, which is why it is a very popular place. Being the only Udipi Type of Restaurant in Panchgani, it is bound to do well & is a must visit place for Fresh & Tasty South Indian Food whenever you are in the area.

Of you haven't been to this place you make sure you do next time when in panchgani. They serve the best saloon paratha and meethi paratha being my favorite of them all. This place has been another favourite in the list of panchgani mahabaleshwar. They spelling has gone wrong though. It's akbaralis

Writing the review very late. Visited Panchgani with wife n kids. Booked for a couple of days at Hotel Malas and a night at Hotel Shreyas in Mahabaleshwar.( wife n kids wanted to chill at swimming pool. *Malas management please note)Malas as always was truly a home away from home. Awesome food, friendly staff. Their package is now flexible, one can skip a meal by informing in advance. Also the coffee shop is very nice addition.

We stopped by unscheduled at Vithal Kamat's located at Panchgani. There was a decent amount of variety of food, did not have to wait long for food to get served, medium priced. The rest rooms were pretty clean. Purohit Lunch Home is a Nice place to enjoy a Homemade Type Limited Gujarati Thali. It is situated on the main Panchgani Road diagonally opposite the Municipal Market and bang opposite the famous Lucky Bakery. Even though it is prominently located, being a small place it does not have a very prominent signage, so you may need to look for it the first time. Like most specialty Gujarati Thali places, they serve only Gujarati Thali here, but it is a limited Thali & not unlimited, like in some other places. The quantity served is however adequate for a normal eater, but may be insufficient if you are a huge eater,. All items are freshly prepared & served hot. The food is tasty, the service is prompt & their rates are reasonable too. Though they don't have a Washroom, they do have a Washbasin for you to wash your hands, which is good. Being at a very busy area on the main road, parking can sometimes be a challenge, so you may have to park at the Shopping Complex Pay & Park nearby & walk. Certainly a must visit if you like Gujarati Thali and are in Panchgani.

Lot of people have commented that the parking space is ample here BUT I would beg to differ. Jafferbhai is also a hotel and depending on the guests staying here the parking space can fall seriously short for those visiting its restaurant.Try and reach her as early as possible for your meal.We were the only people in the restaurant and yet a simple lime-soda took 20 mins to arrive on the table. In fact the starter dish arrived minutes earlier than the drink. I can imagine the service levels when the restaurant is at full capacityThat said - the malai tikka, chicken leg burra and chicken biryani were par excellence. Succulent meat and flavorful.

Tasted home cooked yummy Parsi food at the lovely small restaurant in Panchgani....The Sali chicken was a favourite ..n super yummy...the Mutton Dhansak...served wib brown rice..tastes beat with brown rice only.... Kids enjoyed strawberry n cream for dessert ..but the caramel custard was a huge disappointment. ...The man at the counter who i assume may be the manager if not the owner could do with a smile and little tip in hospitality.... it feels nice to be welcomed. ..and greeted by a smile rather than a grumpy sour facw...

The restaurant is set up among trees and provides the view of water reservoir below. It will be a romantic location after monsoon. Food quality was not consistent. Some items were made compared to some other items. once can eat here once.
