I have dined here with my family a few times when we canât get into our regular restaurant. We are always seated quickly and drink orders taken promptly. Their chicken chaat is really really nice which we all had for our starters. We ordered our mains. I ordered a chicken passanda. I canât reject the name of the curry my father in law and husband ordered. But they really enjoyed it. I didnât enjoy my passanda. It to me didnât resemble one and it wasnât very tasty. It resembled more of a korma. I know they are similar dishes but I may as well had ordered a korma. I had been looking forward to it all day so I was disappointed. Next time I think we will just remember to book a table at our regular restaurant.

Dined here for friends 60th, all staff very friendly, was greeted on way in and out. Food was lovely. Two items was missed from our Order but soon as we had told the staff it was brought to our table. Only negative was lager bit on the expensive side £7.60 for two pints. All in all a nice place with nice food and welcoming staff. Will visit again

We visit Cleethorpes 3 times a year. We started to be disappointed with our usual Indian restaurant a few years ago even though it is always No1 on Trip advisor so we decided to call at Me2raj. Wish we'd found it earlier and not stayed loyal to the other place. Staff here are friendlier, more approachable especially when asking about food allergies and the food is 100% better. We're back next month and we can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant we've ever eaten at. Lovely staff, great atmosphere and tasty food. Was a tad unsure of the place when first walking in. Was placed on a large table near the kitchen in a fairly cramped space and decorated with multiple shades of pink. Waiting staff wearing t shirts as uniform. Perhaps not the greatest first impression to set all in all. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Excellent pickle trays with a good selection. My mushroom rice and lamb chilli masala (served on a sizzling plate) were superb. A nice fresh pint of cold cobra to wash it down with left me happy and content. Iâd definitely go back. Streets ahead of my experience in the agrah down the road.

Decided to give our usual Indian restuarant a miss and try Nawaabz for a change. Pleased we did. There were a few of us and not the easiest of crowds as we had already been partying before we got there. However the staff were absolutely great, friendly and patient! The menu offered lots of choice and everyone enjoyed their meals which all arrived together. Excellent food and very good value. Unfortunately we all plumped for liqueurs at the end of the night which bumped our bill up rather! Oops! Highly recommend this restaurant for service, food, value and location.

Do not order thru just eat and a take away with this restaurant they donât care about customers at all. All they want is your money.I ordered thru just eat but didnât get any confirmation so rang them and was told no order do it again and slammed the phone down on me.Foolishly I did order again and was then contacted to cancel and order which just eat app wouldnât let me do. Anyway they did. On the second order I got 10% discount from just eat that they refused to honour. Delivery is free within 3 miles but I was charged and told to ring the restaurant to get this back.I rang them and eligibly spoke to the manager to be told no refund you ordered thru just eat so you knew what you were paying tough and put the phone down.I was a regular customer but after this experience I will never give them my money again.You are not a customer just a wallet to these people.Thank you very much for your review Mr Cooper Firstly when you rang the Restaurant to confirm your order with us, we didn't receive any order which was confirmed to you and you said you are going to try again and the line went dead, after 5 minutes or so 2 orders came out exactly the same and we contacted you to cancel one, but you kept saying the App wont let you do it. we cancelled the order from our side and you received one order with 20% discount of £5.68 JE voucher discount £2,47. just eat charges the delivery by postcode not by distance and when you placed your order you must have agreed to the delivery charges otherwise they wouldn't accept your order. we explained on the phone that its free 3 miles delivery if you directly order with the Restaurant. you mentioned you are a regular customer and you will not spend your money and you are are just a wallet ........but you have forgot to mention how you screamed at the driver to take the delivery charges off, slammed the door on his face, than rang the restaurant and screamed at the Manager, using offensive language which i wont mention on here to take ourselves to your level.we take negative comments in the public forums very seriously and looking at the facts, our replies are made accordingly. We enjoy all our ratings of "excellent" or "very good" in all public forums and guest reviews and are extremely proud of our unique team and well acclaimed services.

Visited this Indian restaurant whilst on holiday in CleethorpesThe meal was ok but we have had a lot better from take-aways.I was a bit disappointed to see a member of the bar staff putting ice in our soft drink with his bare hands,should use a scoop or pinsers. The decor is a bit tired & needs a paint & re-furb over the winter months
