Friendly, welcoming service.Huge menu choice, good quality cuts of meat, good portions and well presented.Large, light, very fluffy Nan breads, not stodgy!Glad you had a great experience. Gave this place a try Sunday evening. Nothing particularly wrong and I wouldn't discourage others from visiting either and I would try again but based on this visit I wouldn't recommend. Positives - nice decor, good vibe though I would say the middle round tables (where we were seated) do suffer from waiter/customer bum in face syndrome quite a lot.Good service - fairly attentive and swift.Huge portions - food was plentiful - Indian special for one would have fed two and my lamb shank was a monster.Negatives - Huge portions - seems a little bit overkill and I'd concentrate on quality over quantity - even though I'm a big bloke! My food was at best lukewarm - I like hot food.I had Persian options for starter - chicken Wings - could honestly say I tasted no spice or seasoning or flavour at all on them. Main, I had the lamb shank - again, lukewarm, and not a hint to me of spicing, seasoning or anything to make this anything other than a roasted lamb shank I could cook at home. Also it clearly needed some kind of sauce or the like - draped in onions and cabbage but no sauce of any kind. It was OK but not a treat.Good service in that they offered a doggy bag for the leftovers and we were also offered a drink on the house at the end.Wide choice of spirits and cocktails but only one draught lager and a massive mark-up on 330ml bottles of coke - for their location to penalise drivers in that way may be a mistake.As I say, I would try again, with a different menu choice but based on this visit alone, wouldn't say it hit the spot.

We dined here on Sunday and had their set Sunday menu. The food was so fresh, presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean and decorated nicely. Staff were all lovely. Best curry we have had in ages so will be going back soon.

Having picked this place for its location to meet friends, we were delighted by the ambience and the friendliness of the welcome. The extensive menu had a number of unusual items ("Prawn Mc Cartney", "helicopter naan"...) but the five of us were all well-pleased with our selections.

We were staying in Disley and looking for something different and selected Saffron. So glad that we did. The staff were very nice. We liked the clean design of the restaurant and the menu seemed so varied and unending. When we received the plates they were very attractive and each one was prepared perfectly. So tasty. I would stop here again in a second. Don't pass this fine place.

We've been visiting the Lime Lounge for a few years now and it's always one of our favourite Asian restaurants. The food is consistantly fresh and extremely tasty. Unfortunately, our last visit was no where near the quality we were expecting. I think maybe there is a different chef as the cuisine is noticeably different. The staff are great - just the same as usual, being very friendly and attentive. We will certainly return to Lime Lounge, but I'll need to be sure the quality is back to normal before I do. #tayloredbyus

Always enjoy visiting here and always guaranteed a delicious, well cooked, well presented Indian meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Prices are about average for an Indian Restaurant and there is ample free parking available too.
