We were passing by and stopped in this kinda cute restaurant, we were very surprised for the quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes as well as the kindness of the people. There is also a small âsodaâ across the street that had more people but it was small dark and crowded. This is a large covered outdoor restaurant at the top of a small ridge and behind the outsized gate. We chose the view and the breeze on a hot day, and watched birds and iguanas during lunch.Burger was OK, but the quesadillas disappoint our southwestern US palates.This apparently part of a ranch where we later saw a large group of Ticos on a horseback ride.

I had the yellow curry and it was one of the most delicious curries I have ever tasted, with lots of fresh vegetables. One of our party is allergic to shellfish. When notified the staff was very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely return.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge, and Iâm glad they did. I chose it because of the beachside location and reputation for good seafood. I had the seafood combination and my wife had the tenderloin with blue cheese sauce. Both were excellent and worth the price. Itâs not an inexpensive restaurant but all told, it was worth every penny and Iâd come back the next time Iâm in Jaco.
