Amazing veg for reasonable cash, and the best sourdough you'll ever taste. Mellow sofa section for coffee (but I didn't try any)Worth it for the bread alone, didn't expect to find it in such a weird little town.Thank you Secret for your review. We are quite lucky to have such an obsessive and meticulous baker literally on our doorstep. We visited for the first time a week ago and were enthralled by the small, intimate cornucopia of our surroundings. Bianca and Massimo took the time to explain the menu for the evening, using fresh, organic ingredients. What a gem in already sweet Ashburton. Great veggie plus vegan menu which is very original and engaging. Lovely atmosphere with the long tables, help - yourself - water with books available if you have the time. Terrific-ly tasty freshly made to order food. Can't get better. There is hot competition in the town but this is an ace choice. Even the loo is charming and fun, if you see what I mean.

This is our third visit to Totnes and we returned to The Wild Fig, this time for lunch. It is a well positioned cafe on the main shopping street and you cannot miss its distinctive frontage. The food is delicious, with generous portions, and the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally. Also, we are of the opinion this cafe serves the best coffee in Totnes! We also love the fact that the cafe serves not only vegetarian and vegan food but food choices for people who eat meat. Lovely friendly staff.
