From the moment we stepped in I knew it was going to be good. Farm to table freshness. Great food, great service and all at a very reasonable price. A must for the diner that wants to experience cuisine, simple but with great imagination.Thank you so much Robert, we appreciate it.

Ordered burger and pork hock with sauerkraut. Waiter said he would would check for availability. No response so we assumed it was fine. Takeout order taken to B&B. Subbed pulled pork sandwich and fries. Not hubbyâs choice. They didnât ask what else he would like. Burger was good. Pulled pork was so-so. Not impressed with substitution.

We enjoyed a terrific dinner here in a lovely setting. Bistecca for two was excellent, cooked rare which was perfect. Steak included sides of potatoes and greens. Wine selection was great and sommelier was helpful and patient. Made reservation via email which was responded to quickly. A very enjoyable evening.

While visiting Florence we stayed at a house in Impruneta, Italy. While this house was not the most centrally located rental there were some interesting things to see off the beaten path. There was a very large Church that we went by everyday and noticed a restaurant sign on the side. One day the gate was opened and we ventured into the office witch was actually a bed and breakfast, restaurant attached to the church. Unfortunately the church was closed but the B& B did take reservations for Dinner. It was off season and there was only one other guest in the dining room. The waitress was extremely pleasant but didn't understand very much English she got us through it and we all had a delicious dinner and dessert. After dinner we sat outside overlooking the hills of Florence and sipped on Lemoncello. To top if off there was a wedding reception in the garden with a band. We sat there for hours enjoying the lovely view and music.

Run by young locals who grew up in the meat industry, these guys are passionate about their food and it shows in the way they present and deliver their menu. The food itself is absolutely delicious, particularly the meats. The waiter is knowledgeable and assists you in pairing wines with the meal. All in all, an amazing experience, away from the tourist traps, highly recommend!
