We had some lunch there. Given the spree of poor publicity, one expected better. Service was average, nothing spectacular. One member of the group specifically said he did not want onion rings but it was till on the plate. The boiled potato came with nothing. He ad to ask for butter. Visited Coobah on Sunday. The waiter was very friendly and knew the menu inside out. I ordered a cheese beef burger and strawberry milkshake. It was well cooked and looked very appetising. It tasted exceptional. The milkshake was just as good. A must to visit when looking for a relaxing space with great food.

Casual atmosphere, but neat and the upgraded centre is beautiful. The food was very good, tasty and value for money. The service was good and the owner is actively involved. The fillet with blue cheese, spinach and spaghetti was absolutely brilliant.

We had dinner at this restaurant while on our way to Cape town and i was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent(very friendly and fast) and the food was done just right(the way you like it). The steak i had was soft juicy and done to perfection and they even flambeaud it at the table. I also liked the decor and the atmosphere is very relaxed and it makes for a good "kuier". The price is average and you get what you pay for. They have specials for everyday of the week and they even do the occasional takeaway. I liked it and in my opinion the best steakhouse so far. Restaurant has a pub-like atmosphere. Definitely not fine dining. Typical Afrikaner dishes on the menu. Would be good venue for the boys to have a beer out while watching sports on the TV channels.

I have eaten at Margaritas last week with family. Amazing steak- many chefs have disappointed by overcooking my steak. Not at Margaritas.There is apparently a special offer every Tuesday. Where there's a 2-for-1 on certain steaks. Highly recommended and unbeatable value. Their other dishes are also great!
