Never used TripAdvisor, but I feel, I must make note to potential clients. We found a baby cockroach in the pizza at this establishment. After finding the insect, we were calm and made the waiter aware of this predicament. Sincere apologies and promises that this has never happened before, but at the end of it all we payed full price for the meal which clearly did not reach health & safety regulations and neither our expectation. Giving refund should've been presented to us, due to the severity of the situation.We sincerely apologize for your unfortunate experience. We pride ourselves in our pizzas and regardless of our pest control, you may on occasion, and especially at the coast, find a cockroach finding its way into our premises. This is a hidden gem that has the most amazing deli produce and wines to choose from. Lovely variety of imported cheeses, cold meats, pastas, jams, pickles, chutneys, olives to name but a few. Lovely friendly staff and they have a sit-down area with space for kids to play and other interesting Mexican flavored clothing and wares on offer.

Going up to Beacon island hotel and finding a shadey place up on the sun deck is never a chore, the views are fantastic.. central beach and Plett can be viewed it's just a lovely. Park yourself down and you will be attended to by one of the lovely waitresses, a comprehensive menu of food drinks light meals pizza's are all available. A bottle of Protea Sauv is our drink of choice followed by a really good pizza, bacon sandwich or a slightly healthier salad...the food the wine the setting and the sun ...everyone a winner.!

This is a must for anyone visiting Plettenberg Bay. The food was very delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff was very friendly and the service was great! Enjoy spectacular views over the ocean and mountains. I cant wait to come by again!

Wow wow wow, we had the most delicious food from start to finish. Beautiful cocktails and super friendly service from everyone including the chef, who came to check on us. A definite must.

For me probably the highlight of our holiday in RSA as it turned out. The most amazing suites in the trees were so comfortable, luxurious and magical. I really could think how this place could be improved - huge windows overlooking the forest, comfortable lounge area with wood burning stove, drinks cabinet etc. Outside terrace and plunge pool. Nothing overlooked. Front of house Karen couldnât have been nicer, more helpful and was kind enough to send us off next day with some individual recommendations of other places on our route. Food also fantastic. If there was one place I wished we had stayed another night it was here. Just magical.

This is located a little outside of Plettenberg Bay. It overlooks a meandering river with spectacular views. The inside decoration is really interesting with many African artifacts. The food was of a good quality. We shared the kingklip samosa to start - an interesting twist on this Indian dish. The fillet of beef was a fair size, succulent and soft. The duck was tasty and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was buzzy. Well worth a visit and we would happily return.

While staying at Hunters Country House we had a meal at Sage and one at Zinzi. Zinzi was nice , lovely setting, but we preferred the more personal service at Sage. Food was good. Bread and dips to start, then we had duck confit and a pork belly. Latter came with a terrible piece of crackling but mash was good. Nowhere in SA have I had crackling that is crispy. Too few carrots. Nice MCC wine and lovely Malva. Good but not as good as our previous night at Sage.

We couldn't believe how good the food here was. Amazing first courses- you have to take the halumi courses. Fillet in whiskey source was heavenly, 1989 burger is one of the best burgers is the world and even the peanutai chicken curry was out of this world .
