Fantastic idea making all the pizza’s vegan! Not that you would even realise, I tried the pulled jackfruit and wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between it and pulled pork! The white wine was also delicious. Olivier is a great host so friendly and welcoming

Three of us went here before going to the conference Centre for a early doors meal. We were greeted by a very personable young man, we found out he was the manager, very attentive. The menu was good and reasonably priced dishes. The house wine white was pleasant and palatable. The jewel in the crown was the lovely little girl who served us, my friend offered her a tip, and she refused telling her it was already on the bill!!!! How many would of done that? Not many. all in all a verynice evening, and we WILL go back soon

Being regular visitors to Bistro Pierre throughout the country, when we were looking for somewhere for dinner during a visit to Harrogate we thought we couldn't go wrong. My Heritage Tomato and Goats Cheese salad was more beef tomato and goats cheese crumbs. I sent it back and it was returned with a few extra crumbs. My husbands calamari was overcooked and rubbery. We were both so hungry that we ate our starters- hoping that the main courses would be better. Wrong! My Beef Bouguigjon was not at all what I had come to expect from previous meals at Bistro Pierre. It was two pieces of beef which I suspect had been introduced to the sauce on the plate - not cooked in it. The sauce was lacking two main ingredients - mushrooms and shallots. And the entire dish was tepid. I prefer my carrots al dente but these were almost raw. My husband said his Thai fish cake was bland and stodgy. The sauce it was served with attempted to mask this unsuccessfully. The fries seemed ok - until we realised that a few on top were fine but those below were overcooked. As the meal was served I asked the waitress for some vinegar - this never appeared. And we were not approached at any time to ask if we were enjoying our meal.We noticed that people throughout the restaurant seemed frustrated and annoyed.I left almost all of my main course and I told our waitress how disappointed we were. She offered to speak to the manager but by this time we were so tired and fed up we just paid the bill and left. Harriet, our main waitress, was the only bright spark in a very lack lustre evening. On Friday niight we ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant very close to Bistrot Pierre and it was excellent. There are lots of independent eating places in Harrogate. Try them and give this place a miss. Dear Guest,I am sorry for this experience that you have had with us this is far from what we strive in our standards.I have sent a private email to your husband and hope we will take us up on my offer and give us another try.RegardsJames.
