Typical takeaway menu but this one scores low on finesse and taste. The ribs are worth a go but the rice was brown and tasted musty, the sauces bland and insipid, and portions arenât as generous as elsewhere. Only 8 chicken balls? Did the delivery man lose a few? The major positive about Zen is the fact they deliver. Payment by cash only however.

We have used this place for a long time. Although it is a longer drive than the town centre we find the quality more consistent.With the new owners it has got even better. The haddock is fabulously moist and tasty. Give it a try.

Take away in heart of Stamford serving delicious hot food and desserts. Freshly made wraps,falafel, burgers,lamb, chicken tikka pulled pork or chicken wings. If you love sweets come over for waffles, milkshakes, sundaes and more!

Our experience of @street_food_station_stamford. The order arrived after one hour and 45 mins despite the @justeatuk app saying it would take 45mins. The food was cold, the milk shakes were warm. The hotdog turned up without any bread or cheese (our order confirmation confirmed it came with both of these). When I rang them to explain the order was wrong they tried telling me that a hot dog doesnât come with bread I asked for a refund and they said I had to go into the shop tomorrow and we might refund the hotdog but canât promise ââï¸ Not even an apology. Customer service at its finest!

I have to say the Model chip bar is consistent in it's offerings. Always good, clean and simply a very convenient drop in chip shop.

We'd visited Woolsthorpe Manor and came to Stamford for lunch, originally thinking we'd visit the Thai restaurant, but that had closed down, so settled on sitting outside with fish and chips which were very good quality and it was nice to sit outside. The small portions were just right for lunchtime. One thing that did make us laugh was the old fashioned "waitress service" sign. We suggested to our waiter that it would be more appropriate to say table service!

First trip ever and Iâve lived within 5 miles for 20 years Quick and tasty food and a really good cup of tea (very unAmerican I realise) - way better than a fast food joint in any of the services and the kids adore the milkshakes and the slightly retro feel. Weâll be back.
