Took a chance on Easter Sunday and they were open! Warmly welcomed and waitress was really enthusiastic and cheerful. Our order was quite big, so we expected to wait, but we were pleasantly surprised when it arrived quite quickly, which made the kids happy. But the food was delicious. Lamb chops, as promised, were lean but grilled perfectly. Souvlakia were delicious, and the salads were crispy and fresh. Chips were heavenly!But the highlight was meeting the young manager, Jerry. Really pleasant, courteous, and helpful, and his laugh is quite contagious. All in all, a great experience. In the past, we always had takeaways, but this first sitting in experience was just lovely. First off, this is a Vegan-only restaurant, so if I'd taken my son with on the day, he wouldn't really have wanted anything from the menu as even the ice-cream is vegan. Nonetheless, me and my boyfriend were curious to try it out since it's the only restaurant on the premises of the Comic Warehouse and thus ideal to visit for lunch at 2 pm in the afternoon. We were welcomed by a friendly guy (possibly the owner or manager/supervisor) that said we could sit anywhere, but we then had to wait almost 10 minutes for a waiter to finally come and take our drinks order. After that, we had to wait another 10 minutes or so to just receive our Wimbledon Smoothies, while it was sitting right behind us on the counter, warming up, since our waiter was busy washing the dishes first. After having had to wait that long just for drinks, we rather paid for it and left to go get some very tasty burgers from the Burger King down the road, which also had super fast service. It is a very pretty setting though, but I'm unable to comment on the food since we didn't get to have any.

I have eaten at many Wimpys. This is my best one for the following reasons:1. Food is prepared quickly. They use the handheld electronic order system which updates in their kitchen.2. There is a small play area for children.The staff are friendly.The food is good, always fresh.I think only twice they gave me too few chips and corrected it speedily so i give them 4 stars for sitdown wimpy.This is not a very big restaurant and is usually quite busy especially on weekends for breakfast.I cant give Wimpy 5 stars as they are over priced.

Probably one of the best examples of the spur franchise. Good for a quick "after gala" bite, management is very "hands-on". I must say that Fireplace Roadhouse is the best roadhouse I've been to, and I've been to many. Plus the food is at a very reasonable price, much lower the chain restaurants and you get much bigger portions here. I prefer this a million times to other common fast food outlets. I will be going this Friday again to get their Cheese burger combo, which is my favourite.
