Had high hopes for Caltagirone. Wandered around lots of dark alleys looking for supper. Not much open which was understandable as it was Sunday and feeling disheartened came across Il Moro. People sitting out on the steps eating and drinking. Great music from inside. Really great bar staff, delicious plate of cheeses and meat. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely town although the places for food and drink can seem either formal or very casual. This place is a bit different. The beer is interesting and varied (and the wine is good). I wasn't planning to have anything to eat but decided in a quick chicken burger and fries - fresh and very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Go find it!
