Acireale [ˌatʃireˈaːle] (Sicilian: Jaciriali; locally shortened to Jaci or Aci) is a coastal city and comune in the north-east of the Metropolitan City of Catania, Sicily, southern Italy, at the foot of Mount Etna, on the coast facing the Ionian Sea. It is home to numerous churches, including the Neo-Gothic St. Peter's Basilica, St. Sebastian's Basilica in the Sicilian Baroque style, and the 17th century Acireale Cathedral, and a seminary, for the training of priests. Acireale is also noted for its art and paintings: the oldest academy in Sicily, the "Accademia dei Dafnici e degli Zelanti", is located here.

Gastro-style pub with rock legend décor, wide selection of beers and cocktails, not overly priced, selection of panini, salads and first courses, incredibly friendly staff who gave a very personal, enthusiastic service. We immediately felt very welcome and they also spoke English, which is great for any tourists visiting Acireale. Great food: homemade dishes or fresh meat directly from butcher desk!!!Side dishes are homemade regional: caponata, filled eggplants but also light grillef veggies.and the owners do take care of children with adjusted portions.quick service if in hurry!!!

Friendly service and absolutely amazing, fantastic food creations!In over a year of trying different Tavola calda places in Sicily this is my absolutely favorite. High quality ingredients with nice little twists to make a 'simple' snack a real experience for your taste buds. I just wanted to keep on trying and tasting new ones.Loved it and I am forcing my friends to take me there every time that I am back in Sicily. Would recommend it to every one!
