Located approximately 19 kilometers away from downtown Chengdu, the district covers 1068 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 920,000. I had heard that Giliâs was the new place to be in Chengdu for a pizza. So I was pretty keen to try the mushroom pepperoni pizza Brilliant. Exactly like I enjoy them - thin crust, great toppings. Perfection.

A tiny, tiny Italian place newly opened in the Masters complex and an instant favourite with us residents. The food is great with some nice choices, generous pours of wine and the excellent, attentive service of our favourite waiter! We are looking forward to eating outside in the summer!

My husband and I visited Paulaner in Chongqing before our friends took us to the one in Chengdu. Our friends paid the bill for us, so no idea how much it cost. But I was disappointed at the service, not really as professional as we experienced in chongqing. Food was alright, nothing impressed. But we were all happy seeing each other, enjoyed time together!
