I like going here in the late morning or early afternoon for coffee. There is a quiet room with a nice sofa and chairs where I like to sit and read. The coffee is good and the most basic costs Q10, a very reasonable price.

I had an excellent meal here with colleagues in November 2014. The dishes were extraordinarily good - I had prawns in a whisky cream sauce, which were stunning! The chef was friendly and her suggestions were greatly appreciated. Lovely ambience and a memorable meal.

This little bistro might be my favorite restaurant in Xela (not that I've been to more like 3-4). But the idyllic strands of light caught our eye as we were walking through the park. There was only one other pair of people having dinner when we sat down. The setting and decor was great, with the printing press stamps on the walls and fine calligraphy..soft, warm lighting from the "christmas" lights hanging overhead. The staff was very kind and helpful, despite any language barriers. The food was even better than expected. We got just two ham paninis and soup. You could taste a French influence that added some class to everything - very fresh and delicious.Sometimes you find an unassuming, local spot that you find yourself reminiscing about weeks later. For me, this is that spot.

After a very long day of travel with many delays, we arrived in Xela without any idea where to eat. The host at our guesthouse suggested El Pasaje Mediterraneo as they had plant-based options on the menu and delicious cocktails. We had a wonderful meal here and were delighted by the vegan options. It's a great place and will definitely go back the next time we are in Xela.

I came here for my birthday dinner, had the onion soup and the Nutella and banana crepe with tamarind water. All were absolutely delicious, and serving size was huge. Not super cheap, but with every penny!It's a pleasure to be at your service and be able to serve you, we hope you come back

Fancy restaurant in an unusual location, serving sophisticated, Europe-inspired food.Extremely friendly staff and unexpected atmosphere almost compensate the inconsistency of the menu: dishes are well-executed and ingredients are fresh, but sometimes you get the feeling some combinations are a bit of a long-shot (e.g., fish gratin).
