The decor of the restaurant is quite impressive. It was warm and welcoming. We were quite lucky that it was not busy at all when we visited, so we did not have to stand in line at the buffet. The food was of medium quality, but as you can eat as much as you want, it was good value for money. Lots of meat to choose from and a decent salad bar. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of cooked vegetables. Staff was exceptionally friendly.

The atmosphere is great! But best part is its warm and nice service and delicious food. I ordered hash de lux, a pork dish, ingredients are fresh, and nice taste..The dessert is my favourite.

We had lunch at Corfitz, where we ordered a selection of small dishes. The only thing that did not disappoint were the snack fries.. the rest was overprived, both in terms of quality and portion sizes.. The style of the place is very nice, they have a great taste in indoor decoration and design. Also, the music was not too loud. -The staff also friendly. Only thing really drawing the overall experience down was the food, which, I cant stress enough, was boring.

Being at this place as part of a party of 20, I enjoyed 95 % the food immensely and was overall pleasantly surprised about the high quality of food served. I had one of the best Crème brûlées I've ever had - and I've had my share. The only thing to fault the food was the salty meat being topped with additional salt (flakes) making me leave two otherwise really well made pieces of meat. Considering everything else I'd normally still give 5 stars. However, with a selection of wines that is not only poor in quantity but even more so in quality, I simply cannot give the fifth. For me it is just as bizarre as a kebab restaurant having Pingus reds on their drink card. What a shame. I really wanted to give this place a top rating. As for service they fell through a tiny bit too. The waiters and waitresses were kind and attentive and they seemed to know the food they were serving, but despite only having 4 red wines to choose from, it was obvious they knew nothing about them (or wine in general). It by no means ruined my dinner though. If you are to dine in Horsens and wine is of less importance to you, I believe this might just be the best place to go. The price level is very reasonable.

In a small street this pearl is hiding. The service was kind and friendly, and the coffee was amazing and definitely made with passion. A delightful visit!

Some people underestimate the importance of good music for a relaxing atmosphere. For me the music was perfect although I realize that could be subjective. I had the Skovhuggerburger which was cooked perfectly. It was basically steak on a burger but so juicy and tasteful....This combined with an Ipa and good service made it a great evening!

Centrally located in Horsens, Oksen should please most people. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is well prepared. Although red meat dishes dominate the menu, there are other choices too, including salmon and chicken. Soup and salad are included in the price of the main courses and you help yourself to them from a buffet near the entrance. The wine list has a good selection.

Jutland, Denmark Food Guide: 3 Steakhouse food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Horsens

A group of us went out for steaks. The prime rib I had was good, even if a little under salted (easily corrected). As a side, I had fried mushrooms. Interestingly, there isn't a lot of variety for vegetables to go with your meat. The steaks were good and done according to our instructions. The wine list wasn't fantastic, but was ok and reasonably priced for a Danish restaurant. I rate it as five stars because it's a great value for the price. It's not what you would expect in a high end steak house in the US, but it is very good for Denmark. Be aware that they often serve sauces with steak. So if you don't want a sauce, be clear about that in advance.
