Restaurant is considered a upscale pizzaria with plenty of good reviews and great social media. Place is nicely decorated and it is very cozy. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience, but the patrons at my table did, so I am considering their opinions in this review. First red flag, I ordered and returned 2 regular caipirinhas that tasted like water with lime drops and ice. The waiter brought back the same caipirinhas with a little more cachaça (Brazilian rum), my wife trying to be kind took one of them but the taste was still awful so I returned mine for good.For dinner, I have ordered the Matilda burger due to the concept of a burger cooked inside pizza crust with "canastra" cheese, pineapple, etc. I was unlucky: patty wasn't juicy, it was overcooked and heavy, not seasoned at all, so tasteless that I couldn't describe which meat it was made of. Pineapple was uncooked and hard and the combination with a burger wasn't smooth. Other ingredients and cheese were in so small quantities that were hard to find inside the crust. Pizza crust was ok. The waiter misplaced my order for a salad and brought french fries instead. They charge your credit card applying the "suggested tip" automatically but they avoid providing the legal mandatory invoice which need to be requested. Prices are very high. USD16 for a burger and USD19 for a 5 inch pizza. We were visiting Itaipava, district of Petropolis, Imperial city in the Sea Range when we decide to have early dinner around 6:00 PM , what is very unusual for Brazilian. We have found this restaurant open. We have checked in TripAdvisor and all comments were excellent.Staff very young, casual and extremely attentive and courteous as well.Food is very well served at fair price and as well cooked with care and love.I did not rate 5 stars because the atmosphere is very simple.I recommended mainly when it does not matter to create a romantic atmosphere for your early dinner.

We arrived hungry. Lovely colonial restaurant with open windows and hand painted walls. Food had lovely presentation and attractive options. We both had a ceasar salad then filet mignon with most most delicious risotto I have ever eaten followed by caramelised banana and chocolate ice cream. Wine was also well priced . Do go here. It's got charm, good service and good food. It's also next to the cathedral,Liberty Square,Santos Dumont house and round the corner from the Crystal Palace. So much better than a lunch at Bohemia Brewery.

Nice place in Itaipava.Small, comfortable, with a wine cellar with well-priced options.Limited menu, well-balanced, with attractive options.The starters were good and well presented.The main courses, varied and tasty.Service was friendly, but weeks days in Itaipava are always a challenge. Large groups may cause long waiting times. Nevertheless, it wasnât as bad as expected.

What an amazing restaurant! Excellent food, reasonable prices and the wine, well, their wine list is out of this world. It was the best Spaghetti a Carbonara I have ever had. Bought lots of bottles of wine to bring home (with a 20% discount). Service was also great.Thanks very much for your avaliation. We'll waiting for you to do our best ever :)
