We arrived hungry. Lovely colonial restaurant with open windows and hand painted walls. Food had lovely presentation and attractive options. We both had a ceasar salad then filet mignon with most most delicious risotto I have ever eaten followed by caramelised banana and chocolate ice cream. Wine was also well priced . Do go here. It's got charm, good service and good food. It's also next to the cathedral,Liberty Square,Santos Dumont house and round the corner from the Crystal Palace. So much better than a lunch at Bohemia Brewery.

Nothing seems to have changed in this place since the Emperor ate here!Classic, traditional restaurant with no windows at all, this place is a very good option, not only because of its food or excellent service, but because it is probably the only place in town where you can expect to feel warm on a damp, rainy evening.Meat options are very good and nicely grilled and the oversized portions come with also generous side orders.Though not exactly a trendy place, you will soon understand the reason why it has been open for such a long time and it is still considered the place to go in Petrópolis.

Casa Pellegrini is the perfect hangout when visiting Petropolis.The food and drinks are fantastic value and the venue is like a home away. During my last visit to Petropolis we spent almost every day having lunch or dinner, much because of the great location and friendly staff. A big thank you to Danny and the rest of the team who made us feel special every day.

This is a must ! You have to go there and experiment this wonderful fish! The ceviche is something! Delcious! Try truta do bosque, my favority! This place is quite a surprise. In the middle of the restaurant neighbourhood, it is not easily seen from the outside.Very friendly owners, with good food and decent prices.Not too confortable when it is cold (which is normally the case in Valparaiso).Great desserts.And it offers parking space, which is helpful on a weekend.

As it was Friday evening, we got the churrascaria buffet for a very reasonable fixed price. We were sitting outside, upfront on the terrace, very nice! The waiters came by all the time offering a very good choice of various meats and fish dishes. The desert (inclusive) was a large selection of ice cream.

Visited for lunch with group from cruise ship.After a disappointing start (crab sticks!) the rest of the lunch was really excellent.Despite the large group, the staff could not have been more helpful, and the range of food provided was vast.If they can provide this quality for large groups, I would love to try their individual meals.Furthermore the lakeside setting are views are superb.Thoroughly recommended and well worth the visit when visiting this area.Hi, John. Me, my wife Vânia and our friends Teresa and Jaime had a great time at time enjoing a fondue with bread and cheese, meat and sauces finishing with fruit and chocolate.Very tasty.
