We loved the place from start to finish. The ox ravioli was fantastic. We had steak as well that was brought out with 3 different gourmet salts, one had a smoke flavor that was so good we asked to see the package so we could buy some on our own. Another salt was large white flakes that also had a great flavor.thank you so much, hope to see you soon

We loved the place from start to finish. The ox ravioli was fantastic. We had steak as well that was brought out with 3 different gourmet salts, one had a smoke flavor that was so good we asked to see the package so we could buy some on our own. Another salt was large white flakes that also had a great flavor.thank you so much, hope to see you soon

Very well-known, largely appreciated and very nice restaurant located just under the bell tower ("campanile") of the Darfo main church. Recently restructured and extremely well-kept. Particularly comfortable for pairs, small groups or families withoud kids (it can be boring for the youngest...). Food is simply excellent. Most likley, the best food you can have in Darfo/Boario area. Try the mixed-salami appetizer and the the "smoked" mussles, for example. I had a "filetto" and my wife had a portion of rice with mushrooms. Both were simply fantastic. The "campanile" serves a very good pizza, as well, but I think you should avoid it. You can have very good pizza in every single tiny village in Italy so you will not regret it. Try the real food instead. Try the cakes, as well. They are quite creative and very tasty. Even the coffe is very good and served with style. The "campanile" is not cheap but not even particularly expensive. We had two appetizers, a filetto, a rice with mushrooms, three cakes, a bottle of very good white wine and we spent a little less than 100 â¬. Expect to spend between 35 and 50 ⬠each for a full course dinner. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. You will feel at home and you will not regret any dollar spent here.

Ho sempre provato una sfrenata simpatia per i giovani che sfidano il destino con competenza e un po' di audacia. E' il caso, a Castione della Presolana, nella frazione di Dorga, di Matteo Ferrari, che per sette anni è stato lo chef del ristorante "Risol", uno di quelli qui che vanno per la maggiore. Quindi bravo, considerato, apprezzato dai titolari del ristorante e dai clienti. Ma Matteo Ferrari, del quale al "Risol" spiccava su una parete perfino una sua gigantografia, aveva un sogno: continuare a fare lo chef e mettersi in proprio. Magari, se non subito con un ristorante (operazione complessa e impegnativa) almeno con un negozio di gastronomia. Così ha inventato "Sapori di montagna", a due passi, ma proprio due, quasi a ridosso del suo ex ristorante. Dal quale s'è lasciato in amicizia, al punto che il "Risol" gli ha anche regalato la gigantografia, che ora campeggia su una parete del "Sapori di montagna". Un nuovo negozio stuzzica sempre la curiosità di potenziali clienti e così mia moglie ed io abbiamo voluto "testare" una, due, tre volte la nuova iniziativa del Ferrrari ed ora ho già capito che Matteo la sua scommessa per me l'ha già vinta. Perché ha messo in piedi una cosina carina carina. Bel negozio, che ancora sta prendendo forma, mentre lui, in cucina sforna quello che sa fare, da ottimo chef: fritti di alta qualità , ovviamente casoncelli, crêpes fantastiche e via e via. Lui in cucina e la commessa... per stare sul sicuro, è la sua gentilissima mamma. Sta per arrivare l'estate, il periodo clou in Valseriana e in tutte le valli, sarà la prova del nove visto che sono in arrivo frotte di vacanzieri. Ma anche gli abitanti della zona hanno già capito che una capatina da "Sapori di montagna" (anche se i casoncelli sanno farseli da soli) conviene farla.

I am glad that when in Spamatti Hotel this is the easiest way to to feel up the bally after a long day of ski. I recomend the "Costata" as the Secondo Piatto. None of the pasta I had disapointed me.
