We are regulars, whole family come here all the time and we bring everyone who visits, food is really good and can't complain about the service. Their dosas are to die for, especially their coconut chutneys, can't recall having any better elsewhere in Malaysia. Good job guys keep it up!Thank you so much for this rating and review Madam. So happy to read this review. We are glad you love our thosai and chutney, we use a type of old school rock grinder to break down the ingredients for our thosais to a pulp, we find this gives the Thosai better texture and flavour than using regular blenders. The old school way is more time consuming and tedious but completely worth it especially when we get reviews like this. As for the coconut chutneys, we use real coconuts as opposed to ready made ones to achieve the creaminess and flavour. Thank you so much for taking the time to write us this and hope to see you again ❤️

They are famous for their signature dish called Fried Asam Laksa. A dish originally made in soup, they somehow found a way to make it dry and friend. And it tasted exactly like the original. Had a nice spicy and sour taste to it, it was neither too dry or too wet. Another dish you would see everyone having is their popiah. Recently, I went and tried the other dishes like the Fried Kuey Teow and Mee Jawa. Which also taste good! Price is affordable, of course it is not as cheap as the chinese kopitiam but for the extra few ringgits it's definitely more worth it to come here as they serve quality food.

Came here for lunch with family members. The shop front's first impression is not very impressed.Well, it's just lunch.Walked in and wow! plenty of customers.Decided to go upstairs to look for available table. There is available table.Workers gave us the menu to browse through.Ordered blanched chicken, roast pork and char siew, pork meatballs, and choy sum Even though plenty of customers, did not have to wait long for order to be served. The char siew is really good, blanched chicken is good too.Reasonably priced. Was told their popular dish is rice noodles with shrimp wantan. Will come back again to try.

A family member who now resides overseas came back for a holiday. We chose this restaurant which is located in the shopping mall connected to the hotel for convenience. This restaurant is definitely not fine dining and didn't live up to expectations of a HK operation. The deep fried garoupa fish was not fresh and the sweet and sour sauce was a far cry from the normal version. The sauce lacked flavour and was too thick .The stir fried Australian beef slices in black pepper sauce had tender but few slices of meat and lacked pepper taste. There was more shallots than beef. The three cup chicken was average but relatively the best dish. The slow cooked chicken soup in individual bowls at RM20 each was poor and lacked flavour besides being a waste of money. The Australian cauliflower in claypot was a total disaster in texture and taste. The warm hashima dessert was served in a warm ceramic bowl but the contents were much cooler. We sent it back to the kitchen for warming up but was shocked to witness the dessert being zapped in a microwave cooker. Total bill of over RM500 was certainly our worst meal in a very long time. Hugely disappointed and will never return.

Prawns were tasty.Come early and give lots of time for them to prepare the food.Dear Adeline T, thank you for choosing to dine at our Emperor Chinese restaurant. This is a typical neighbourhood dimsum that have nothing to shout about, except for its Portuguese egg tarts. Not sure or don't understand why the long queue during weekends, or during peak hours! If you don't like the queue, perhaps just takeaway the tarts and enjoy at home. This is really not a place for dimsum, when the other hungry crowds are waiting for you to just make way for them after the long wait.
