Really nice cafe / restaurant in East Wittering, generous portions, friendly service, wide range of food on offer: fish and chips, burgers, salads, toasties, jacket potatoes, also serves alcohol. Seems unsure what it is, itâs a seaside cafe, with great breakfast and lunch options, however serving alcohol and opening into the evening sets it as a restaurant / bar. So itâs a little confused, but it was busy on a Monday night (shuts at 8), deep fried Brie wedges were very generous and halloumi sticks very good; jacket potato was good and Selsey crab and calamari salad very good. It was very warm in there, possibly for the older customers ! Also very bright, no subtle lighting! All in all very good for what it is, whatever that is!

Nice friendly staff. Decor similar to American diner. Good menu of cooked food, takeaway or eat in, snacks, sandwiches, cakes etc. Very clean. Try the fish and chips!! Will definitely visit when next in the area.

We tend to have a breakfast here every 6 weeks or so and it is always of a good quality.It is nice as more often than not we are able to sit outside and look at the papers with a tea and coffee whilst we wait for the breakfast.I always go for the "Mega" Breakfast 2 sausage,2 egg,2 bacon,chips,mushrooms,beans and two slices of thick cut bread.My wife has the regular with hash browns or bubble and squeak.This is a big breakfast and very good value.

Had afternoon tea with Daughters and G.daughter as treat for Mother's Day and daughters birthday. I can not recommend this place highly enough.Everything was home made, service was excellent and Staff/Owners were so friendly, nothing was too much even phoning half an hour before our booked time to add another person to our table.Well worth a visit you won't regret it.What a wonderful review, thank you so much for taking the time to write it - it was a pleasure to help make the day something special. Always a very friendly and welcoming service by the team. Even when they are really busy. Lovely food,always hot and happy to accommodate requests by little ones to change the menu :-) Fast service and a relaxing environment. The only downside (which is outside of the owners control). There are often people camping in the car park for the morning sea views. Which means there can be lots of rubbish, smells from people cooking breakfast (not always pleasant) and washing hanging everywhere. It is a real shame.

While staying at Bunn leisure we had the hood fortune to eat at Grumpys, and what an amazing place this is.We have eaten here 4 times during the last week and the portions are huge.The food is terrific and i highly recommend the lasagne. The service is great and we never had to wait long for our order to be taken or the food to arrive.They are also really friendly which adds to the visit greatly.I have seen some negative reviews on here but i can honestly say i look forward to coming back.

We popped in for lunch as were camping nearby. My husband had the pie and mash and he said it was very tasty but I had butterfly chicken and whilst the portions were large, the chicken was dry and tasteless. The chips and salad were nice, will try one of the other cafes next time.

Family of four, one with Coeliac, looking for GF breakfast options stumbled on this little gem.Our daughter was over the moon to get GF beans on toast as a standard option on the menu, which is where she is normally excluded, so many thanks for that!Can't recommend this place highly enough, thank you!

We have been to this cafe many a time, but on this visit whilst the food was it's usual very nice and the staff are always friendly unfortunately the cups and knives and forks where not very clean as we had to ask for clean ones, it is a shame really as it is so simple to check before giving them to people no matter how busy you are there is no excuse for not washing things properly and puts people off going in there. I know we do not live there but we are down there quite often as we have relative's who live in Selsey so come and vistcthe cafe often..
