Things to do in Port Edward
Had dinner at Ramsey Gardens during our weekend away in Port Edward with my Wife.Ordered Calamari rings and Dorado as the available line fish. Simply delicious. Well prepared. Medium. One of the best prepared and tasty line fish. Service was a bit on the slow side but was worth the wait.
Top 3 Steakhouse food in Port Edward, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Situated in Melville Johannesburg Sips Wines and Spirit Emporium is a classy spot for those with a sophisticated taste. With a wide range of wines, spirits, cigars and not forgetting gourmet dishes prepared by a master chef
The selection of wines is excellent. A wide selection of South African gems. Red wines by the glass and by the bottle were served very warm. The loud tacky music also does quite fit the cozy wine bar atmosphere. With a few small changes the place could be great. Hope to see it do well in the future.
Where to eat Bar food in Port Edward: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Entering through the Mac Banana parking entrance turn left to the far end and find The Krafty Chameleon. This is a Gift Shop combined with a daytime restaurant. We visited for a BreakfastWe were greeted immediately by a very friendly waitress who explained that she was a Trainee, She was friendly and efficient, I wish all "trained" waitresses around the world were as good as this "Trainee".A range of traditional home-style breakfasts were on offer and I had the "Krafty Breakfast" which was tasty, well cooked, and delivered in a very short time and the ingredients used were of good quality. The breakfast menu list is quite small but sufficient as most individual items are also priced separately so you can add to, or build your own breakfast if you want to, vegetarian options are also available.A children's play area is adjoining one side of the seating area. The main seating area overlooks a dam with views behind of the wooded hill and banana farm.On your way out, stop and browse in the Gift Shop where a good selection of Crafts and Gift items are available at reasonable prices.I am sure that we will be back for another Breakfast or to sample the lunch items.
What a fabulous experience. We had the BEST pie we have ever eaten. I had the rib and my husband had the oxtail. The pie dough itself was flaky and light. The inside was like eating a home cooked meal. We also ordered a salad - every single ingredient was fresh and delicious. The manager was lovely which only contributed towards a lovely experience. We shall be back.
