Most people would miss this treasure. Down an ally in Jaco, CR, not much to look at but the food was awesome. Fresh, well prepared and plenty of servings per dish. Presentation was a bonus.Started out with a refreshing fruit smoothie, ended with awesome verity of Costa Rician food flair. Place is small and open to the street but that adds to the character of Establishment. Enjoyed talking with the owner while waiting for our meal. We learned a few things about Life in Costa Rica. Can't wait to try it again

Jaco Beaches original dining experience! Excellent value, huge portion, open from 6 a.m. till 12:30 for breakfast, evening hours 6 p.m. - 5:30 a.m., pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers and fixins!

....and did not disappoint for your typical breakfast items -- eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc. -- but found to be a little pricey for these items. However, things all over a going up in Jaco as is not the value it once was in the past. Additonally, the service there never seems to be consistent, even though I believe my woman server is the owner...not sure.What was memorable about SB was their fresh fruit plates/drinks...and their coffee...very good coffee. Been there several times over many years and will repeat. Worth a stop.

Great service, prices are fair for the quality of the food (which is quite nice!) Beautiful views, great background music! The place itself is quite welcoming and relaxing. The best that i have had on the way from SJ to Jaco/Hermosa. Recommended!

They offer a variety of options for breakfast, all of nice size and affordable prices! For lunch we had the whole fried fish, decent size fish with 2 side options, highly recommended! The staff is very friendly and enjoyable to talk with and the best thing of all, this restaurant is pet friendly!

We happened on this gem by chance. We were looking for a place to stop on our drive from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, and thought Zona K looked inviting. We completely underestimated. Everything we ordered - from caprese salad to fried rice to pastries to smoothies - was amazing. Just as an example, the fried rice was heaping with delicious fresh vegetables and the breaded chicken was crisp and tender (ordered it in case it would tempt our child - someone at the neighboring table had a seared tuna steak that made my mouth water). Service was great. In terms of size, Zona K has the vibe of a sidewalk cafe - some seating inside and a few tables outside. It's nice that this is not on Jaco's busy "strip," this was nice and relaxed.We're so glad we stopped, and I was motivated to actually write about it because it was such a find.

Great little place to stop for an American style breakfast...eggs, omelets, frecnh toast, etc. atr reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, but tasty. Mary/husband were very personable to chat with as well....Indoor seating with AC definitely was a plus. Worth a visit.

Homemade everything and excellent. The local coffee was very good. My boys were almost crying with enjoyment from their cinnamon rolls they had for breakfast. And my wife and I kept it simple but delicious. We went here twice in the 6 days we were in town. Actually, we tried to go a 3rd time, but they weren't open yet. So we went to a competitor and that was great too. Separate review! But if we're ever back in Jaco, we'll be back at The Coffee Shop guaranteed!
