The cafe is in a freshly painted carriage with flowers on the tables and outside seating as well. The staff are genuinely friendly and even wish you a great journey on their delightful railway. The baking is fresh and the coffee in cafetiers. Prices are good and the cafe is very busy. You can order from the counter and pay if you are sitting outside on the platform.

Stopped in just after opening on a Sunday morning. Although their were not offering their full chef prepared breakfast, we found the sandwiches and sweets very satisfying. It's hard to find a good breakfast / coffee shop in Scotland. The Byre Grazing was a nice start to our Sunday itinerary of distillery tours. Would definitely eat here again.

The property was originally The Bank and Bank house. It has a lovely fresh and bright interior. Our food is all locally sourced as far as possible and we have a good ethos to our takeaway side where we use vegware cups boxes bags etc. We are happy to fill

This place has a lot to offer, but just stick to the goods you can buy.We had a quick lunch here and the food was allright but the soup was luke warm and had no favor, as for the sandwich it was just what it was nothing special.Really sorry Huurman and really wish you had said something at the time so we could have done something for you. Our food is always really good but I did take a soup off last week and sent it back to the kitchen because it was in my opinion not good enough and I can only think that you were someone who was served that soup before I saw it. So sorry and like I said we would have done something about it if you had just said. Genuine complaints will always be taken on board.

Called in at Irene's when on a trip to the area to research my family tree. Irene was very helpful and was able to help us find some of our family graves from the 1600s.Lovely friendly people, excellent service, made us very welcome. Had a bowl of their excellent homemade soup.Will have lunch there next time I am in the area.
