Really lovely little pizza restaurant. Went as a family and all ordered something different (including a toddler sharing with an adult - more than big enough meal to do this!), and all meals were enjoyed. There was also a couple in the restaurant enjoying a drink, and it appears a nice place for going that too. Staff were friendly and accommodating. You just book as it is a very small place, and several people came in while we were there to try and get a table but they were fully booked (including one woman who was shockingly rude and scrutinised the waitress about how many people exactly had they got eating that evening and why couldnât she be fitted in - the waitress had the patience of a saint and was so polite, I think most other people wouldnât have been). I visited on holiday but if ever in the area again this would be on my list to revisit!Dear Littlepinkhearts, thank you for your very kind review, we look forward to seeing you again soon. Next year we are hoping to increase the size of the restaurant as long as we get planning consent, so hopefully we won't turn many people away.

Popped in here hoping to get a table, we timed it well and managed to grab a table. We only wanted tea and cake as it was a bit late for lunch.Lovely menu with something for all tastes.We went for cake that they had on show at the covered counters. Thoroughly delicious cakes and lovely pot of tea which we managed to have nearly three cup fulls each.Great customer service also.Plenty of reading matter which you can also purchase.Car park around back of the cafe.Highly recommended.

At Wells next the Sea and Holt. We serve a very informal but very good breakfast, lunch. Coffee, cake, sandwiches, soups and panini. Pasties and breakfast muffins. Milkshakes, smoothies and iced coffees. You can take away or sit in and rest all year round

We had a lovely family lunch here with our dog which was given a dog treat, We all had the bowls of noodles which were very tasty but we would have preferred less water and more vegetables as they were quite awkward to eat. The service was excellent, very helpful and friendly.

Once again we visited cookies and were not disappointed, my sister says that I shouldn't tell everyone about it as it gets fully booked quickly but it is one of the highlights for us when my husband and I travel to England,truly delicious if you like seafood

It looked like a lovely cafe with outdoor seating. The drink arrived and unfortunately the glass was dirty so I said to the waitress "I'm sorry my glass isn't very clean". She was polite and friendly- apologised and took the glass away. Then my prawn sandwich arrived. It didn't taste right and the prawns were old and chewy. I took my plate in and again said to the waitress "I'm sorry but these prawns don't taste right" she offered to make me another prawn sandwich which I politely declined as I felt they would all be from the same batch. She then called over the owner who said "You're the one who complained about the dirty glass! I've had plenty of people eat those prawns today so there's nothing wrong with them!" Not the wayyou expect to be treated as a customer parting with their hard earned cash.If you want rudeness, old prawns and a sore tummy then Horatios is your cafe!I personally prefer the friendly approach with delicious food and so will be returning to my favourite - Wells Deli in Holt.

The goods:Great little town, with wonderful shops & buildingsCafe has a fantastic atmosphere; very retro with flowery cups & saucers, plates etcLovely setting Unusual soup; parsnip & apple, served with homemade (& very interestingly shaped) cheese scones Friendly service from most of the staffThe huge selection of cakes looked amazing although we were too full to try themThe not so goods:Our drinks were forgotten, due to a quick downpour outside. We werenât charged for them when they finally arrived howeverThey donât sell Diet Coke but do have a selection of other low-cal drinksOverall, this place is quite expensive but is a very pleasant experience. I was debating between 4-5* but I would recommend it; you get what you pay for. A great stop off along the A148.

Why, oh why do quality restaurants serve toast piled up and not in a toast rack?We called in for breakfast ( whilst on hoiday in the area) and the menu seemed very comprehensive, but, having eaten very well the previous evening opted for simple scrambled egg. The egg was beautifully creamy but it arrived on the top of one piece of toast, which was on top of the second piece - both therefore a bit soggy.The menu for Specal week of dining in Norfolk ( last wk of Oct ?) looked very good and reasonably priced.We fully appreciate the feedback, a slightly tricky one to amend as most expect their eggs on the toast. Will look into it a bit further.Norfolk restaurant week is very popular and does represent excellent value, so strongly advise booking.

The cafe provides delicious food, all with a friendly smile. It is stuffed full of eclectic and highly eccentric little knick knacks for sale which are certainly not going to appeal to everyone, but it's certainly entertaining sifting through everything on offer from feather boas to clocks, china owls and highly individual paintings and everything in between. It's delightful actually in its eccentricity and a visit is highly recommended. It's also in a perfect location to start or end a circular walk. Parking is available and free.

Following a meander along the glorious Blakeney Harbour on Monday September 2nd, I stumbled across the best cafe this side of the English channel! Great service, great food (amazing scones) and a fantastic atmosphere. The delightful gentleman who served us makes this place what it is... a small slice of heaven. What a charmer. All of this at such a welcoming price. Would happily have paid more to experience all of the above again. God bless.

As this was the last week for their pizza evenings (ends Oct 25th) we took our grandchildren for an early supper.Pizzas were OK although mine definitely needed longer in the pizza oven and was rather soggy. Toppings are fairly generous and interesting though and children can have a half portion at half price which is good.We also had a crab salad which again was a generous size but we felt it could have been fresher and most was left.Service was good and friendly as usual.
