I just loved the friendly environment that I found at Casarao. The owner himself sees every customer seats at a good location and makes sure service keeps up with quality. Good food, pizza, nice fillets. Just loved it.

This was fun! We were a group of 7 friendsâtwo of us were visiting Maringá for the first time. We (the non-Brazilians) joked that we couldn't leave without a caiparinha so we were brought here. The caiparinhas are great but they are STRONG! Our Brazilian friends ordered an assortment of bolinhos. The clássica feijoada were delicious. The place is informal and open to the street. Without any doubt is the best restaurant to eat fish in Maringá. Usually you will find tons of restaurant that selling different variety of fish dishes close to the coast, but in the countryside there is just a few.The restaurant is not big and sometimes could be very crowded. I went there for a dinner with family and we ordered two dishes, that includes rice, fries and salad. But depending on the day you can also get the rodizio.The fishes there are delicious and I would recommend to anyone that loves fish.

Our friends took us to this restaurant during our visit and the food was simply fabulous!!! Very authentic Minas Gerais Brazillian food, great cocktails with a great wine selection. We loved the live music as the duo sang a mix of Brazillian and American songs. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the decor and ambiance is very nice and unique. This restaurant is always busy because it is the best restaurant in Maringá. This is a restaurant you must try if you are visiting Maringá!!!

Brazil in general is very famous for the barbecues, especially the "rodizio"type. And every barbecue house that you go you will find the rumpsteak prepared in very different ways. But the traditional way still the best way to appreciate the rumpsteak, prepared only with salt.But you can also find some good steakhouses like in Maringá the Silvan Cult SteakHouse a place where you will find a very good grilled steak, you can ask for portions or just get the rodizio. The food in general is delicious. The atmosphere is also nice and the service is not bad as well.It is a good place to visit with any purpose, family, business, friends...

We arrived in Maringá for a wedding and a large, non Brazilian group of us went and had lunch at the Oca Bar e Restaurant on our first day in the city. The staff were very accommodating, and prepared a table for about 16 of us, with no reservation. Each of us was looking for an introduction to good, hearty Brazilian food and we were all very pleased with the large array of delicious and generous dishes we ordered, which went down great with their great Caipirinhas. If we are ever visiting Maringá again then we would certainly go back!
