My favourite restaurant in all of Italy. Real Tuscan food from original Tuscan recipes. The wine list is "fuori classe" as in exceptional. This restaurant is a bit outside Florence, but absolutely worth going for. The Gori's are running their restaurant with passion for food and wine in absolutely high quality. We enjoyed a lovely late summer dinner on the patio, with excellent food and wine. Although the menu was in Italian our waiter was able to help sufficiently with translations, and service was very professional. We had to try the regional specialty, bistecca alla Fiorentina, which is a huge portion for two (we took home leftovers). Prepared very rare, it was delicious although I usually prefer a leaner cut.

This restaurant was amazing. The service staff were very friendly even though I could not speak Italian and made me feel comfortable. The food was great with the freshest produce used, making all the difference. There was a mixture of traditional and modern cuisine which catered for everybody. I have eaten here many times when I visited Italy. If you had to try anything, the pizza was the best I've ever tasted. I will always come back here when I visit Italy in the future.

Came here as part of a large group which had a pre-ordered menu so we didn't get to pick- however no worries as everything was delicious. A selection of starters and mains all served really hot and without exception were really tasty. Would definitely come back here to personal dine.

We were staying in Sesto Fiorentino because it is a convenient base for visiting Firenze and Toscana, and we were not expecting much in terms of gastronomy. Well, we were in for a pleasant surprise when we happened upon this restaurant. We had polpettine di maiale (pork meatballs - but it sounds better in Italian!), cod crocchette, grilled chicken, and a creme caramel with vinsanto for desert. Everything was one or two steps above our expectations - each dish with little touches that simply made it outstanding.The service was also very good, with just the right balance between formal and friendly. Really, a place where I'd be a regular if I were to stay in Sesto Fiorentino for any period of time.

Tasty food served in an amazing 1950 setting. The service was not so good though, we had to remind our orders to the waitress more than twice, and wait 15 minutes for a beer.The menú is great, they have everything, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, celiac menu. Thank you very much for this nice review! I apologize for the carelessness of our waitress. I am happy to read that you enjoyed the proposed food and you've noticed the quality and quantity of proposals we have!
