The food here is not special but is good, primarily grilled meats and vegetables. The outdoor setting is very casual and pleasant. There were a lot of families with younger kids here when we visited. A solid choice, especially on a Monday night when many other restaurants take a night off.

If youâre vegetarian, this one is not for you.. for everyone else, youâve just found heaven!Glorious meats and fish dishes to die for, great service and interesting surroundings make this a great choice for a special meal with friends or family.The prices may seem a little on the high side compared to other local restaurants, with a fillet steak costing 20⬠before you add side dishes (around 7⬠each). But the quality of the meat and the way it is served would justify twice the price elsewhere. The fish brochettes are also fantastic, as is the mixed grill. I doubt anything would disappoint to be honest and te staff canât do enough to help you.Highly recommended.

We decided to have our Wedding Reception here after seeing the beautiful outdoor area recommended by Pam from Romantic Weddings On Lake Garda.We were able to choose wedding breakfast menus, wine, table arrangements all from home. We arrived at the restaurant the day before our wedding along with a box of decorations. We met with Petro who was amazing and came up with lots of ideas of where to put our decoration, created a playlist for us, and even went through the different types of wine which could be offered and when we stated we quite liked a sweet rose he offered to go to a local vineyard and find the perfect one! After we had been married at Malcesine we took a boat ride back to Riva Del Garda and made the short walk to the Hotel Miravalle. It was decorated beautiful and such an amazing atmosphere. Petro had come up with so many ideas for our decorations and it was better than we could have imagined. We had canapés and Prosecco in the garden and then sat down for our meal outside. The chef had chosen our entree of a light cheese mousse. First course was a the most beautiful lasagne with white ragu and vegetables. For second course we had 1/4 chicken with steak, vegetables and mashed potato which was cooked fresh on the outside flame bbq in front of us, the meat had so much flavour and melted in your mouth. For dessert the chefs made us a fresh mille-feuille wedding cake which was still warm when served! We had 30 guests all together and everyone loved the food and still talk about it now! The service was amazing our glasses were never empty and we were offered hot drinks after our meal. Most people say you never feel like eating at your wedding but me and my husband could not stop! It was the most delicious meal I've ever eaten!Amazing restaurant with amazing food, atmosphere , views and service. You's made our day perfect and we can't thank you enough. We are coming back to Riva for our 1 year anniversary in June and we will definitely be eating here to celebrate! What a superb meal!! If you like your meat and don't mind it rare, then this place is worth exploring. The selection of game available, from young steer to rampant rabbit is mind blowing. King Beef Burger, rib eye steak were the stars of the show.

We came here with a group of friends. The AMBIENCE and decor of the establishment is totally traditional and "local ye olde worlde"--in a word, traditional to the area, scenic, cosy and timeless. SERVICE was friendly and fantastic! (They "couldn't do enough for us"!)FOOD: Incredible! There was so much--everything was delicious!-- that it's difficult to remember it all! Courses just kept on coming! For me, the highlight was a "starter" round of two kinds of THE most delicious home-made bresaola--the traditional air-dried type and a sort of marinated, pressed "tartare" version which was unimaginably good! The style of the food in general was "Northern Italian-meets-Swiss/Southern Austrian" as you would expect from up in the hills north of Lake Garda. Courses of this deliciousness just kept on arriving! They make their own wine (carrafes of red, rose and white just kept on coming to the table...) This was, literally, ten meals rolled into one! And the cost (including tip)????? Only 29 euros per head!!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!

This restaurant is a gem. I recommend sitting in the courtyard, which is covered by trellis on which luscious grapevines grow. The service is excellent. The wait stuff is courteous and fast. The food is mostly typical Trentino food. I recommend the carne salada and the trout of the Garda, which is salmon colored and delicious. The fegato alla veneziana is also excellent. My wife said that the lasagna she had there is the best she has ever had. Also, the food is not too pricey. We ate there several times and were never disappointed
