I always visit this restaurant when I've been to Cordoba. There's something nice about it. Very charming staff that make you feel welcome and in your house. I really enjoyed every meal I had before. This last time our group ordered fried calamari and I ordered a steak milanesa, which was huge dish and couldn't finish! This is one of the best restaurants I've been in Cordoba and will definetely visit again. Everyone loved what they ordered, oh and the bife de chorizo was excellent!!!

A group of us wanted to go here for many months so I tried to book a reservation. They don't take reservations even for large parties. The waitstaff seem to be very miserable, like they hate their jobs and people. They didn't bother to fake being nice, constant dirty looks and rolling of the eyes at every person they waited on or had to pass by. The food is ok. My friends are beer people, I'm not. They said the beer is really good. If you seek other types of beverages, naturally there isn't much to pick from as it is a beer house. Also the music is really loud so if you are looking for a place to have conversations with people, not really the best choice. I guess if you are looking for a good beer with passable snacks and don't care that your waiter hates the world - then this is the place.

We went to this place with friends during our first night out after arriving in Argentina. We hadn't been here on our previous visits and we had heard good things about it: that the food was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and altogether a cool place to get together with friends. Well, it was really disappointing. The food was ok but the service was truly appalling; those guys they have waitressing there do not really want to be there doing thst job and they show it. They were very slow coming to take your order, they were very hadty, didn't even wait for you to finish saying what you wanted to have, once or twice actually walked away before we were done. Terrible attitude. Definitely not coming back. Gracias por tu visita, cualquier consulta que quieras hacer comunicate por facebook: "Pizza Italia" o "Pizza Italia Restobar". Pones "me gusta" y mediante mensaje te atenderemos. Te esperamos nuevamente.

Food was very good, waitstaff was terrible. For the amount of money we spent, I expected much more. The wine was hot, asked for a chilled bottle and was told, "I'll get you ice". The resturaunt itself is stuck in the 80's need some major upgrades. Overall as I said it was good, but at the price it lacks a lot

I came here with fairly high expectations given other reviews and was a bit disappointed. To the restaurant's credit, service is prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is also pretty good with a lively crowd and good decor. However, the food leaves more than a little to be desired. The bread for the table was dry, my olives were not fresh and my Milanese was tough with a breading that was not fully cooked.Everyone else seemed to be having a good time and everything else about the meal was on point, so it may be worth your while to try this place yourself. Trabajamos siempre mucho para que todo salga de la mejor forma posible y no acostumbramos a tener comentarios negativos. Tienes que tener en cuenta que esto es tan solo un bar, con precios absolutamente accesibles para que la gente pueda venir con mucha frecuencia. No es ésto un restaurante "gourmet" como los que podrás observar en los primeros puestos de ésta página (Tripadvisor). Quizás tus expectativas eran otras. Saludos!

i still remember our first visit 3 yrs ago. the quality of the food is still the same, simply outstanding. prices went up a little, but what can you do with this crazy inflation. time to introduce michelin stars in argentina, this restaurant really deserves at least one if not two. i tried 3 different main courses and 2 appetizers and postres, i won't say anything more here, just try it yourself, you won't regret it. i was very pleased that (according to trip advisor) this is now the number 1 restaurant in cordoba. i would even go one step further, it is one of my favorite restaurants in argentina! as i am back at least once a year i can keep you updated if they can keep the high standards!a special compliment also to our excellent waiter from gummersbach, germany. impresionante!!!

In general, I feel that Tripadvisor suffers from "grade inflation." People give out 4s and 5s rather precipitously. Statistically speaking, most restaurants should receive 3 stars, with a some 2s and 4s and a few 1s and 5s. The standard bell curve. But that doesn't seem to be the case on Tripadvisor, where 4s and 5s seem to predominate. So I tend to be a bit skeptical of the high ratings often found here.In this case, all the five-star ratings for Papagayo are richly deserved. It's rare that a restaurant surprises me, and Papagayo did. We were served some truly innovative dishes, such as the briefly cooked egg served in its own shell with arrope de chañar and cream. I've never had anything quite like it. Other dishes connected the flavors of many different cultural traditions without veering off into "fusion" cuisine. Some of dishes were interesting takes on standards. The sofrito de calamar y chorizo español was an interesting update to traditional Portuguese grilled octopus and chorizo. The solomillo a las brasas felt inspired by American pork and apples, but was taken to a higher level. Overall, the chefs demonstrated outstanding taste, inventiveness, technical proficiency and a sense of culinary history. The waitstaff was on point, particularly our waiter Agustin, who was exceptionally kind and interesting. Special kudos to the sommelier whose choices were spot on. Leaving aside the food, I would go back just for his wine recommendations. All in all, a total success. My wife and I are living in Córdoba this year and I look forward to returning to Papagayo frequently.

Llegamos y nos acomodamos. La música estaba muy fuerte, pedimos y el Disk Jokey en el momento lo solucionó. Pedimos un jugo de remolacha manzana y apio... espectacular!!Para cenar una hamburguesa que venÃa acompañada con papas frita, Rabas , todo muy rico... Muy recomendable!
