Visited the boat house on recommendations, wasn't really feeling the buffet but the bar was pretty busy so we stayed for a few drinks, glad we did fast and friendly service cold beer, all we needed for the evening.

We truly enjoyed our meal, all the dishes were fabulous. The steak and seafood bowl were outstanding.!What we found the most frustrating was the wait staff. They were forgetful, disorganized, sloppy and lacked professional training. Thank God the food was good because I wouldn’t go back if I knew I had to be served by that staff again.

The only restaurant right on the beach a few meters away from the Indian ocean ! Lunch light on the Terrace, select your preferred tapas or taste a succulent ice cream in the afternoon in between dips and the sea. Enjoy magnificent sundown while enjoying delicious cocktails and fusion food. Mahe, Beau Vallon Beach
Was recommended to try La Plague from Reading a few online reviews of the area, seemed like a nice place and good location, went in for dinner and asked "Do you have space for 2?" This was met by a rudely answered "No reservation?" and a roll of the eyes from the waiter, followed by a "well you will have to sit inside" he then turned to lead us to our table (or so we thought) we then followed him through the restaurant and out to the outdoor Seating area, he then turned around and said "no I said you were inside!" I appologised for following him and went back inside and found our own seats inside near the toilets with a lovely view of the wall. After browsing the menu of what can only be described as over priced local cusine my partner suggested we leave. Best decision we made all evening!

We stopped off here for a couple of milk shakes whilst exploring the back of Beau Vallon beach.
Decent milk shakes, friendly service- bit pricey as compared to what we have paid elsewhere.
The food menu looked fine, but the location not good enough to tempt us to stay.
70 rupees each.

While heavily promoted La Scala lives up to the hype. Traditional, old school feel with longstanding owners and a well deserved high reputation. Attentive staff, nice cooking (fish was offered grilled, fried, creole style using the type of cooking as the choice to be made). Large portions, so go hungry and be sure to ask for an outside or balcony table which is cooler. Excellent.

After having trudged around Victoria and becoming increasingly with the guide book map, we happened upon this place, which we'd been looking for earlier. Upon entering the restaurant it was cool and calm and we were greeted with friendly enthusiasm. Ever member of staff that we came into contact was kind and considerate, suggesting suitable food for our children and ourselves. The food was honestly sold, home made and excellent. The ice creams were fantastic too! We would definitely go back!

Fully air-conditioned Indian Gourmet Restaurant, the Mahek restaurant is considered as one of the best Indian restaurant on the island. Situated in the Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel, It provides you a gastronomically selection of Indian Cuisine served in traditional antique style ware. It boasts a "show cooking kitchen" where guest has the opportunity to watch our chefs at work. The restaurant offers the possibility with outsider guests to have the menu take-away. Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday Lunch - 12:00 - 14:00 (weekdays) 12:00 - 15:00 (weekend) Dinner - 19:00 - 21:45
Chef Paul is just amazing. But we had a waitress Rozina who was extremely rude and just ignored us after calling her 7 times for menu. We almost left but then Chef Paul came and ensured that we were looked after well.

Its the best Indian restaurant we found in Mahe. This is in Eden island, very close to Victoria, the main town in Mahe island (Seychelles). They do home Delivery only in Eden island. Great vegetarian fare, reasonable pricing since Indian vegetarian in Seychelles is quite rare. Nice indoor and outdoor Seating. All in all a great experience.

We were at the Treasure Cove Restaurant as a family of 5, with our youngest ages 6, 7 and 17.
The Chinese style fish soup was very good and the Creole fish was good. However I was very disappointed with the fruit bat stew, a local delicacy and one of my favourites on the Seychelles, which tasted refrozen and defrosted several times. I did complain about this and the waitress about this and they offered me to choose an alternative meal. Unfortunately, I had lost my appetite by then.
Nevertheless a decent place to visit but there are better options to choose from.
