I've been going to roatan for years. through the years you meet people - good people. i met harris as he works at fosters and the hideaway. i will always try to go by and give him business and say hello. he is a good kid, works hard, wants you to be HAPPY HAPPY HPPY while there. the owners have a good employe in him. must ask for him if he is there! he made everything better. the drinks here are great. I'm picky about my bloody marys and man this was a good one! also monkey la la is great here. definitely worth a few hours of drinking and swimming to stop in! you get a chair when you buy a drink. awesome!

We visited for dinner in March 2019 and have to say that the service was spectacular. Our orders were taken quickly and our food came out quickly. I am drawing a blank on the gal’s name that served us (she has a healthcare background if I recall correctly) but it was absolutely top notch. We were craving the bacon cheeseburger they sell (comes with fries) and it was great. Costs $12 plus 15% tax. Our friend had the fresh Wahoo which was very tasty and a huge serving of fish. It also came with deep fried plantains, mixed cooked vegetable and rice with red beans. Also had the coconut shrimp appetizer which is $15 for 15 shrimp and is served with an apricot sauce and those that ate it said it was very tasty. The only thing a bit off-putting is the fact that the menu is on a chalkboard with no prices. Our waitress was excellent in rattling off everything they offered and the prices so it was not a problem, but I know when we visited last year we had to ask what the prices were. Its not a big deal but for those trying to watch costs it could be awkward if you aren’t comfortable asking what something costs. Their listed prices do not include taxes or gratuities. For those that may be bothered by it they do allow dogs in the restaurant and if I recall correctly last year there was a cat on site, though we didn't see it this year. The water and ice they serve is all filtered and loved that their takeout containers are paper instead of plastic. We visit Coconut Tree Restaurant at least once during our annual visit to Roatan.

The lobster was suggested and did not disappoint. Right on the water the sunset was gorgeous. Hubby had bbq and was good, considering we are midwestern people who love good bbq, this was not bad for an island. Will be returning.

We live on an island where we are constantly reminded of the effects we have on the environment. I came to the restaurant and asked for a glass of water. The waiter asked if I wanted a plastic water bottle... I said NO a glass of water to which he responded he was not allowed to give me a glass of water and he would get in trouble if he did. Apparently the management has strictly prohibited giving costumers glasses of water . What kind of restaurant denys their costumer a glass of water ? Food was average but never coming again..

The Landing Restaurant & Bar

The best option in West End for a quality mid-range lunch or dinner. The menu is limited but the food is prepared with care and nicely spiced up. Service is outstanding, especially when considering that the sole waitress has to manage a full house, take care of the bills, attends the hitel guests (at dinner time) and that she does a great job at keeping the atmosphere "light and fun."

Lily Pond House Restaurant

Our tucan travel group loved our evening with Zac. He was a fantastic host. Ask him for a Zac attack cocktail sometime. It's like a lime, vodka and coconut explosion. The mashed potato and vegetables were delicious. Regrettably the fish was covered in a really strong sauce which obscured it's flavour. If you order catch of the day, consider asking for sauce on the side as it really is an acquired taste. I would have loved to have stayed on for chocolate cake but the Zac attack finished me off.

I loved swimming and snorkelling right there, the location is quiet and beautiful. The fresh lion fish was delicious! The ceviché was the best, and the fried fish was done perfectly. I’m looking forward to coming back in November.
