Once you meet Tita, you'll be back to the Pink Seahorse Bar a lot. And, she'll remember you. There is no way to describe the bar, there are seahorses, pictures, bobbles, bangles and t-shirts and flags from everywhere in the world, things you don't even know what they are, etc., etc., hanging from the palapa roof. All I can say is you have to go to Tita's but hurry because a new owner is challenging her to move a few feet up the beach and it's sure to change. However, Tita will still be Tita and you've just got to meet her. Also, she's a great cook and you can pretty much order whatever you want, including a whole fish dinner that is memorable, but sometimes you have to order it ahead of time because everything is fresh.

What a great thing they have going here. Jeff was super friendly and easy going, he makes an amazing frozen mojito too! I loved swimming and snorkelling right there, the location is quiet and beautiful. The fresh lion fish was delicious! The ceviché was the best, and the fried fish was done perfectly. Iâm looking forward to coming back in November.

Great bar, great drinks and a great beach to rest and relax, spent some time here after some great diving, chatted with some other travelers and locals, very friendly. Good selection of drinks and the cocktails were all tasty. Will be back next time we're on the Island.

We had four dished, One ceviche which was OK. One whole fried snapper which was excellent, one tempura which was OK and one buffalo mozzarella which went back to the kitchen as it wasn't buffalo ad it wasn't mozzarella (yeah, I know, am picky, but am Italian). In terms of food would deserve three points, but toilets were smelly and this for me is a killer...Thank you for coming to the Lotus to dine.I am very sorry you did not have a perfect experience.We try hard to give the best dining experience. I apologize forthe odor you are mentioning. Being in the open , sometimes we get smells from the sea or surrounding area that is not pleasant.I will be sure that in the future that the bathroom area is attended to so that thereare not any bad odors. I researched Buffalo mozzarella and learned it is a specialty Italian cheese that we can not buy inRoatan. We do serve mozzarella cheese but not Buffalo. We are limited to what is available on an island. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and your complaints are well taken and we will strive to be better. Patsy

Our family of 6 ate here on one of our first nights in West End. The service was good and the food was amazing. We had rotisserie chicken, coleslaw, curry chicken and some absolutely delicious rum cake. Each person repeated that this was one of the best places theyâve ever eaten, Honduras or any other place. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend it.

Marcos made our stay and visit to the bar the reason we returned. There are a lot of bars and restaurants on the beach but Marcos is here at the Thirsty Turtle ,as are other friendly bartenders, who treat you kindly and serve you good bar food. The food itself is mostly fried but the breakfasts are great and they have 2x1 drinks daily served with a smile! We were very impressed with the service. We were immediately approached and walked through the menue. The server seemed to be very proud of working there. They gave to taste tequilla. When our kid needed a larger napkin, they quickly provided it. The plentiful food was served quickly, and it was very tasty - our kid left an empty plate.

Went for a walk and found a little oasis of a cafe. Follow the signs right of the roundabout up the hill about a 2 minute walk and on The bayside is Cafe de Palo. Small and quaint cafe sitting on the Iron Shore overlooking the bay. Beautifully decorated with a relaxing vibe. Friendly staff and great views. Beautiful spot to chill and enjoy something to eat and a beverage of your choice.Thank you soo much. It was lovely having you!x
