Reviewed By mathmomaThe B&B is in a beautiful historic building with a lovely garden. The area is quiet and convenient to get reach by car and has off street parking. There is a luxury sized shower. The breakfast is delightful which included fruit and marmalade from the garden. The host is extremely helpful including with local restaurant choices. This place would make a convenient location for visiting sights near Bari. Clara is an exceptional host!

In the centre of Bari, 240 metres far from central station, in Melo street 195. Our six rooms are provided with en suit toilet, TV, WI FI, AC and fridge. The familiar atmosphere will let you taste domestic dimension and the possibility to get in touch with our beloved region Puglia. The only B&B to be suggested by UNESCO club Bari. The B&B Melo has a limited number of rooms compared to a Hotel, but the staying will be more authentic and pleasant.

Reviewed By EmmanyooBeautiful hotel on average Some positives: -The hotel is located in a central place where you can walk into town -It includes free Wifi -If you have the balcony room the view is beautiful -The staff is amazing and extremely helpful Some things to note/ could be negative; -The hotel is quite old and it shows -The rooms are clean but still you see they are quite old -The price compared to the hotel isn’t really worth it but if its high season I might Understand . -Most of the staff can not speak English hence its difficult to communicate what you need.We used “google translate” mostly. -No safe / secure place to keep important documents ie passport when going around the city. -The breakfast is monotonous.You choose among The exact same items everyday and they bring it up in your room,no place to sit /restaurant for breakfast.

Reviewed By GWtravelerChicagoThe good: comfortable bed, nice towels, very close to the airport The bad: stark, dirty rooms in need of maintenance The compound is enclosed in a high barred sliding gate, there is nothing nearby, sandwiched just off the end of the runways and train tracks. It’s very spartan and poorly maintained. Our room had a tile floor, one chair and a small desk. It was cold and rainy outside, the room was cold and two short showers used all the hot water. WiFi was spotty and VERY slow. There were big gouges in the walls and they were marked and dirty. The shower had rust and mold in the corners. We used their transport which is convenient and pricy- 15 euro each way. The door of the car didn’t close reliably. The owners are helpful, making early breakfast before our flight, which was really early, with good coffee, yogurt, packaged bread and biscuits. He ordered delivery pizza for us for dinner since there isn’t anything close. Stay a little further away, get a decent meal and have a clean and comfortable room. I can not recommend this accommodation.

Services which Garden of fruits offers are many such as: free wi-fi in the whole structure, fax service. The Bed and breakfast room "Garden of fruits" is provided with all comforts: towels, hairdryers, Tv set, desk, wardrobe and so n. The salon area where breakfast is served is very comfortable and functional. Room cleaning is made daily. Breakfast: breakfast , according to seasons will be served or in the salon either in the charming garden. We will offer to our guests a rich continental breakfast: milk , yogurth and hot drinks ( coffee, cappuccion, teas, infusions) matched with cakes, biscuits and crispy croissants home made and with house made jams of mixed fruits. Besides fresh fruit and natural juices will be offered.
