The sinquerim beach is hardly 4min walking distance. There is also a private forest path that leads to a treking route behind fort aguada that offers a stunning view of the rocky beaches. The property is 10min walk from cafes, restaurants, liquor shops and grocery stores. The nearby restaurants offer excellent cuisine. There are also a lot of bike n car rentals nearby the property. The taj fort aguada is 4min walking distance as well. So location wise a great property to explore. Property: The modestly called Marbella guesthouse is more like a boutique hotel. Architectured around the Portuguese style, the property has colonial and indian influences strewn about reflecting in its eclectic furniture and curios. Marbella houses 3 very stylish suites (Penthouse suite, Rajasthani suite, moghul suite) the rooms have unique styles n themes and are done up tastefully and 3 spacious rooms (Garden view, bougenvilla 1 n 2.) All rooms have aircon,flat tv and a comfortable bed. Perfect for budget travellers. The property has a beautiful landscaping surrounding its inner n outer parameters with beautiful trees, plants n flowers. Unlike boring hotel rooms, Marbella has a lot more to explore inside the property...during our stay we would read books kept in small bookshelfs, twiddle with a tibetan singing bowl that we found on the shelf, or just play with their dog 'Sophie' a super friendly dog that will lovingly pester you for a belly rub and thank you for it with its doe eyes. For nature lovers the property never ceases to mesmerize with its beauty. It looks so perfect. Service: The staff is very warm, caring n friendly. They are true professionals at their job. There is a sense of approachability with a sense of responsibility towards their guests. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly by sunita who loves to chat. Ashok the cook is the ninja in the kitchen whipping an excellent breakfast, and all the rest of the service staff are associated with the property since long and know their tasks well n execute them well. Sajjan the manager is also a great soul ask him anything (within reason) and it'll be done. They will help you with a snack if you're hungry in the middle of the night, will help you get a rental or a cab to the airport...or in my case even help securing stuff to plan a b'day surprise. We also met the owner of Marbella; Susan who was a charming and warm person. My regards to a fellow animal lover. Experience: ahh your stay is always good when you get back home and miss it. I miss the dog sophie, miss the property for its beauty and the great time we had in it. There is always a story to tell. Places like this make you fall in love with goa. Keep up the good work guys. Siolim House is a 350 year old palacio from the times Goa was a portuguese territory. It has all the hallmarks of a period manor and has been restored with all the care it deserves. Now only 9 airconditioned suites in a lovely village very well located for the beaches and sites, homecooked local cuisine, it is very much a home where you will get to experience authentic Goan living.

Reviewed By sahiba5991Siolim House is a great heritage property in Sioolim village. The staff and management are very helpful and friendly and as a solo traveller, this was one of my best stays yet. The hotel is centrally located and most beaches are within a 30 minute ride. The manager also has great recommendations for places to eat and visit. I'd definitely recommend this property and will for sure be going back!

I need the owner to call mean apologise. Useless bloody resort! Very commercial and very critical ni customer arrive and very hurting too.

Not only is it close to all the amazing joints, shacks (literally 15 mins is max you take to reach) it is also the most clean and peaceful resort ever. The rooms were super spacious with all amenities and the staff could have been more polite. The team at Ivy anjuna literally goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. They even arranged the two wheelers for us . Thankyou team, we are definitely coming back :)

Situated in the centre of city on the main road going to Fort Aguada, Candolim Beach is 200 metres away which is easy to access shacks and watersport activities, the hotel can be accessed very easily. A contemporary full service hotel, Riva Gold Coast is a beautiful 3 star property in Candolim, the hotel provides a blend of modern amenities with rural Goan style.

Hotel staff especially Vikasji was quite helpful in arranging everything ?. 10 Mbps Wifi for the whole hotel is quite slow and we had to switch to our data pack. 1 of the beach is quite near to the hotel and the restaurant(forgot the name) exactly opposite to Acacia hotel (close to Riva Gold coast) is delicious! Overall a nice location, handful restaurants nearby and worth **** rating.

Our reception desk is open only during the day. During the night a member of our staff and our security guard are available to attend to emergencies if any. The Sinquerim Beach is 2 Kms, Calangute Beach is 4 Kms, Baga Beach is 6 Kms, Mapusa/Panjim Bus Station is 10 Kms, Tivim Railway Station is 20 Kms away and the Goa International Airport is 45 Kms away.

Very helpful, prompt, and patiently replying to all your queries. Thank you very much Jala Madam and Mr. Tony for making this is a great experience for me and my family. I have been to Goa a few times and regret not staying here during my earlier visits. I would recommend this place to everyone, who wants to have a great vacation in Candolim/Goa.

I was furious to understand this logic. Even handwash was not provided. I told to receptionist I am unhappy with room they told us that you have to pay extra 2k for room upgrade. My experience was poor for non premium rooms.

Amazing decor, unique artifacts, beautifully designed rooms, neat and clean restrooms, top-notch service, and the BEST pool ever. The hotel looks even better at night. We loved every single thing about the hotel. They gave us an early check-in which was super helpful. Bike rent is available just at the entrance of the hotel. Close to most of the beaches in Anjuna. 24*7 hot water is available. Scrumptious and good breakfast available. No pictures would do justice to their beautiful pool. One of the best we have seen. The GM, Mr. Akash, was super helpful. Always available for you for any help you need. Asks for your feedback and also suggests great places for dinner. One of the best GM ever. Great job, Akash! Things that could be improved: There were multiple times I called the reception and no one could answer. It was annoying. The door of our pool rooms closed at a great speed. With kids that became a problem for us, where both our son and daughter did get hurt. I wish there was a proper stopper. There was no handwash in the restroom and when asked they told me they have kept a soap. I didn't understand why soap and not handwash, especially during times like these. We had to call and request a shower cap which was not provided initially. We ordered from room service and found out one dish was not the one we ordered. I did try to sort it out but there was some confusion, They did not take it back and we had to pay for it.
