Reviewed By ah0nacMy husband and I stayed over at this place for 3 days. Pros: The property is right on the Baga beach. For people who want to just have a fun time in the beach shacks, they can explore this place. Brittos is a 5 minute walk from here and walking for 10-15 mins will take you to Calangute beach. Food is good. Price is little on the higher side but at par with the other restaurants around. Staff is friendly and if you want something which is not available at the stay's restaurant then they are willing to get it for you from elsewhere. Stay's restaurant has its own set of shacks, shamianas and you can just sit there and unwind while having good food and drinks. We flew down to Goa and they arranged for cab in short notice at reasonable rates. While return also we had an early morning flight but the cab guy from the stay dropped us without any additional charges. Cons: The cottage was clean with clean bedsheets and toiletaries but the room smelt musty and it took me time to get adjusted with the odour. Since it is on the beach, there is constant loud music and if you are planning to retire early in the night, it may become a challenge for you. There is no direct connect to the road. The closest road that connects to the property requires a 2-3 mins walk from there through a really shady pathway which was a bit inconvenient. ----+-+-+-++-+++---++++++-------- Overall it is a good stay experience if you want to enjoy the beach night life in Goa by staying on the beach itself.

What better way to rehash old memories! Extremely friendly staff, scrumptious food and clean rooms. The kids too had a blast. Located in the heart of Baga so made our evenings even brighter. The host too paid great attention to detail. Made our stay a memorable one indeed

Decent place for short stay but dont book cab through this hotel
Reviewed By 998sujaysWe stayed here for a night on 15th may , we booked deluxe room facing salt pan lake , room was good condsidering the price , also had a bath tub , my kid enjoyed a lot . Also want to share a very bad experience which all travellers shud be awae of , pls do not rely on cab to be booked thru hotel specially if you are booking through Alex Fernandez, spoke to him and confirmed cab booking for next day to candolim , also confirmed the fare , however next day just at the time of check out mr.alex stopped picking up the call and the driver whom he had hired called and said that amount told by alex i.e 1000 rs was too less and he cannot come at that price it shud be min 1300 rs .post that we kept calling alex but he nvr picked up phone .even the hotel guy called him multiple times but he was not responding. Kindly be careful while booking cab through this hotel. This was a very bad experience at kalki resort as i was travelling with family along with small kid , caused a lot of inconvenience, it also spoiled our entire days schedule.

The receptionist did very fast check in procedure and give good room.house keeping bell boy explain room about room. We took breakfast there it was very good and teasty. Swiming pool also clean and good maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you Miranda staff. We will be back very soon bye bye

Reviewed By Devashish_RaiLike every year, we had to celebrate new year in Goa. This was out third visit to Baga so knew what to avoid. Searched this property, found reasonable and booked through owner. We got it for 6000, including breakfast. Here's quick review: Pros: 1. New property. So rooms are very spacious, clean, modern and well appointed. Had a fridge, coffee maker, locker, LED TV, queen size bed, comfortable bathroom and balcony without an exciting view. 2. Owner is a gentleman, reasonable and approachable. 3. Staff is courteous enough. 4. Location is 5 min walk to hip n happening Baga beach, but not in Tito's lane (rather parallel). Cons: 1. Property is slightly inside from the lane, with big access to 4 wheeler. 2. Property comprises the building with rooms and thats it. Doesn't even have a boundary wall or gate (surrounded by near by homes or hotels) 3. Though breakfast is complimentary, they don't seem to have a dedicated kitchen/ dining area. So you gotta choose from a very limited menu which will be room delivered in about 30 min. By then tea/ coffee isn't hot enough, and omelette loose it's fresh taste and aroma. 4. Since no parking, our plan of doing Mumbai Goa drive sank. 5. What left a bitter taste was constant reminder for payment, by the reception staff. 6. Also we requested him for a cab to drop at railway station, he arranged for one but driver ditched at last moment. The receptionist never bothered to inform us. What if I hadn't kept margin or didn't know other local cabbys' number? JUST NOT DONE

Worst and horrible experience
Reviewed By aviks122Starting with the name. It's "Amoura guest house" and not the "Amoura beach resort". They have posted pictures which are misleading. It's not on beach and you have to walk to get to the beach. Although only good thing is beach is nearby. This hotel has an open reception and have few rooms only. It's not clean at all. It's very likely that you'll encounter bed bugs and cockroaches in your room. They don't have any restuarant or kitchen. They will order it from adjacent hotel. Staff is not courteous and they'll not even pay attention. We reported that room is full of cockroaches and mosquitoes but they didn't do anything. Overall, I'm really disappointed to book room in this hotel.
