Every year on our trip to Germany we come to this restaurant in Bad Ems for the amazing view, and every time we are impressed. Today it was extremely hot but we managed to find a table in the shade on their Terrace, and our friends were very happy to have come. The food is above average and the service leaves nothing to complain about, unless it is very very crowded ( which only happened to us once in the last five years of coming here).Some people seem to come only for drinks or ice cream. It is a "must" if you are in Bad Ems!

Was in Koblenz on business trip and chose Los Gauchos. There was 6 in my party. We had the house special fillet steak which was finished being prepared at our table. Los Gauchos are serious about their beef it was perfectly cooked to each request. Amazing. Staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was full to capacity. I will highly recommend and return again.

While everything in the old Emperor's beloved Bad EMS is simply lovely and a time warp into pure Prussian Architecture, one would expect a slightly better cafeteria in such a prominent place at the riverbank. However, service was nice, but qualities of cookies, prefab cakes, tea and coffee are just at a very low standard.

When you think you can eat no more having had your fill at the excellent Altes Brauhaus a couple of doors down, you will find room for a small ice cream ( 2 flavours) for an unbelievable €1.30. I defy you not to go back for more. Wonderful.

Externally, this is an attractive looking restaurant and ideally located on the banks of the river. My pizza was freshly prepared but only average in content and flavour. The waitress was good, cheerful and with a sense of humour. I felt as if the place was a bit gimmicky, trying to hard to be Italian when the real thing is a little less 'obvious'.

We previously visited this restaurant in 2015 and I reviewed it as excellent at the time. We booked again for a second large family gathering in May this year and were not disappointed. Service and food remain excellent with the extensive and varied antipasti again impressive. We have eaten at many establishments in Koblenze, but consider this restaurant our first choice for the larger celebrations.

After Reading good reviews we decided to eat here. Staff is very friendly but they do not really check the tables to see if anything is missing. I tried to get hold of a waiter a few times but he rarely looked at our direction, so that took some time. The food was good, nothing to complain but it took a long time 1,5 hours to arrive at our table. Fortunately we took a starter which I can recommend to tackle to hungry feeling during the waiting.
