I have read many reviews of the Biryani hut, yesterday I found myself in the right place, at the right time. I wasn't surprised to see a small queue, it's popular. My short wait was compensated by some great food. I opted for the prawn biryani meal deal, but upgraded the included drink to a mango lassi. The meat samosa and onion bhaji to start were lovely. The biryani was excellent, well cooked and well flavoured. The Dahl that was served on top of it was like the icing on a cake, perfect. I can't wait for another visit. : D

I visited the Wenham Queeen on a Tuesday night in January with my girlfriend. We have been to the pub numerous times in the past but not for a few years. The pub had three real ales on draught and the Wherry had finished but Abbott ale, Brewers Gold and Timothy Taylor's Landlord are exceptional choices for any real ale fan. The pub itself is friendly and traditional with no fruit machines and background music. The night we visited was quiet at 7 pm but by 8 there were a few people in there.We ordered the indian food rather than trafitional pub food because it used to be fantasic. Within ten minutes our popadoms and puckles had turned up and were very nice. Another 15 to minutes later My beef madras and girlfriends chicken malabar were just as we remembered them. Amazing. Wr also had a large plate of vege rice and bombay potato side dish. The bill was about 30 pounds which we don't mind paying for quality food.All in all an excellent meal.

Stopped by for a take away on our way home, great service and friendly staff. Restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. Waited 15-20 minutes for our food during this time our taste buds were entertained by the constant flow of food coming out of the kitchen. I ordered a dish that Iâve never had before, it was a bit oily and lacked a bit in the flavour department, maybe I should have stuck to what I know to make a decent comparison. My wifeâs curry tasted great and we would definitely return here again.

Since moving from London its been hard to find an Indian take away that matches the one near us in Barnet but this one has really ticked all the boxes. Food was delivered within 35 mins, was over the 4 mile free delivery (by 0.7miles) but delivered free anyway, and was hot and absolutely superb. Not the cheapest take away option but so good and portions are large, with a free poppadum to boot. Will be using again soon

I've eaten from here on many occasions and can honestly say never been disappointed the taste and the service is wonderful prices are competitive when compared to other restaurants of this type. The staff are friendly and the service is quick so the food is always cooked to perfection I have never had reason to complain the atmosphere is pleasant and the aromas of the food cooking makes you hungry before you even start even if you eat in or take away the service here is great so they could have a few more varieties of drink that said I would happily go again and again and probably again

Loved this place.So nice to get a change from the usual Indian menu. I had the Chingri Pardanashin which was a lovely prawn in coconut curry.Nice light airy restaurant. Pleasant service,Food was amazing. Huge portions. (Had to ask for a doggy bag!)Will definitely be back when next in the area.Recommended.
