Worst Management for such a nice property
Reviewed By Ana612198The property is located in beautiful location but the pain area is the management behaviour. Check in time is 12 but we had to wait till 4pm to get a room. We booked 3 rooms with sea view but got only one and the other two rooms had restaurant and jungle view. We tried to speak with the owner, Loren/Lorraine who was too rude to accommodate any request for a change in room as we were told that we can leave the place if we do not like it. Since it was a weekend and we were around 10 people it was difficult to take a decision like that and had to adjust. The property and the restaurant staffs are really nice, but some steps should be taken for the management who does not bother once booking is done.

Our entire property is set in abundant Goan jungle with a vast array of plant and wildlife surrounding beautifully crafted wooden cottages. Around every corner is a new secret pathway leading to special spots such as hidden statues, a water well, our two ponds, and hillside yoga shala. MOJIGAO is made up of six luxury cottages overlooking the forest, designed with nature inspired furniture and wooden interiors. Each suite has its own grand outdoor veranda, sliding doors and windows with panoramic view. To stay at MOJIGAO, is to be at one with the earth and with yourself.

Reviewed By arzanstudioSet in a jungle book landscape, sits Mojigao, which along with its superb ambience will stun you with the superior food it serves. Such a laid back atmosphere, surrounded by abundant nature, amidst absolute silence. Each one does their own thing, and fits in perfectly well to the magic this place has created. The health juices are fabulous. Each one better than the other, and the food is superlative too. My absolute favourite is the avocado toast with the poached eggs.

Botanique is a beautiful intimate guesthouse nestled in a gorgeous garden where centuary old trees surround a large swimming pool. It is located in Assagao, North Goa, in a green and quiet area close to the sea. Enjoy staying in one of the three designed, spacious and homely suites / apartments that can house up to 4 persons.
Lovely little place in the heart of Assagaon
Reviewed By VijayV565Was looking around for a place in Assagaon to stay 2 nights and landed up at Botanique. It is a quaint place with lovely rooms and tastefully done up. Best part was the easy access to great restaurants all around the area. Izumi has opened up in the same compund as well. They have a lovely pool and the place is pet friendly, my dog had a great time exploring the compound. Avinash was brilliant all through and makes sure your stay is comfortable

Reviewed By AkshayKumarIsHereStumbled upon this as most other places that I usually book were full or exorbitantly priced. Booked via aggregator and got this at ₹6000 per night. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to a cottage and even more kind enough to allow us parking within the property. They have one car park only. It’s nestled right in the heart of Assagaon. Peace, serenity are the two words to describe it best. It’s 10-15 mins drive to all the popular restaurants and bars. The closest beach is Anjuna, about 20 mins away. Room : cottage room with a small sit out to have you’re morning coffee or evening tea. There’s a big garden right in front where one can sit and chill. It’s nice, calm and cool. The ceiling is huge, room is spacious, with a round table and a chair. There is a small wardrobe as well. Bed : at quite a height, is average. Not the most comfortable like the Oberoi or ITC one. Bathroom : clean, small and compact. The shower is good, fancy and their toiletries are average. Food : they have a blue Tokai counter, so the coffees are good. Breakfast : our package included breakfast and one can order from a fixed set menu. The food is good, simple and presented well. Property : The property is built on an existing villa, so it’s pretty big. They have 10-15 rooms and a nice garden area (which overlooks our room) There is a pool area, one can have some beer if you don’t feel like moving out. Mobile network & Wifi : mobile network (Vodafone) is a challenge here, almost nil network. Wifi is provided by the hotel, it’s good but at sometimes it does not work. May be we had a bad day. Safety : we could not find any security person or anyone at the reception when our Ac stopped working at 4am. Though it started working on its own back again, I was surprised as there was locked doors to the reception area. There are birds chirping every morning at 6am or 7am to wake you up. We being early risers enjoyed it. There are a few monkeys as well that come on the roof but we did not witness any danger nor any threat. But that’s the trade off if one wants peace and calm. All in all, if you want peace, calm and still want to be close to the popular restaurants & bars, this place is for you. Perfect for a couple. Staff is absolutely polite, helpful and extremely assistive.

Perfect Place for stayaction when you want to be near north goa
Reviewed By ashujandialDuring our 2020 winter stay in Goa for more than a month, we decided to place ourselve with our family in De Aluizio located in Assagoa and is treat for the folks who enjoy outing for food, beaches and Cafe. The owner Shailesh has did very good job in managing this Portuguese style Villa which is huge and our favorite spots in this Villa were the sit out located near entry gate and the backyard which has nice sit-out areas. The rooms, dinning room and kitchen are very spacious and if ones wants to put up here for with friends and family then you have the right place to book for. Shailesh the owner is definitely doing his best by visiting or checking on how is the stay and for any smaller complaints was very quick in resolving the same. This place being located in the center offers you varied places to visit and everything seems to be in 5 to 10 km radius for us..Cafes like Baba Au Rhum, Jamun, Gunpowder etc. We owned a scooty to enjoy these places and enjoyed lovely winter morning and sunny drives across most of the places we visited. For folks planning to visit this place for work and if you are Airtel users then nobody would disturb you. :) The only thing if I have to ask Shailesh to change is to work on training his staff as the professionalism and neatness is missing in the kind of work they are doing. If this worked upon then Shailesh your ancestral property would be listed in must to visit very soon.

Reviewed By prashA4732YBFirst of all the property is falling apart. So dangerous. I think a part of roof can fall on head while leaving of entering the room. NOT A HOTEL. JUST AN AGED HOUSE MAINTAINED BY A LAZY FAMILY THAT IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I got trapped by the good reviews. Now I strongly believe that most of them are fake. They only care about foreigners because they can fool and overcharge them. Toilets are choked. Rooms are messy and smelly . I dont know what others say but thats what i got for my hard earned money. So disappointed. The place is unhygienic even the kitchen is dirty. I got a chance to see it . No food options. Eat what they make. No room service. Rude family. Avoid by all means.

A calm oasis, with amazing hosts
Reviewed By Gemma MI stayed here twice at the beginning and end of my visit to Purple Valley yoga. If I had known it was just so lovely I would've stayed here longer and plan on coming back. Monty was such a brilliant host and cares about his guests. I slept well (I'm a newbie to India and didn't realise how crazy it can be!) and felt like it was a peaceful sanctuary for me. I highly recommend either as a place to stay for visiting amazing assagoa or as a base for yoga workshops. I stayed in both the house and the cottages and they were beautitful, clean with lovely details to ensure a good stay. Monty will also let you know the local places to visit, and sits and chats with guests. I travelled alone so this was really appreciated and made me feel comfortable. If you're reading this, enjoy your stay :)
