this is a great Hotel. Clean generous rooms and friendly staff. Its worth to go there even though it is not at the waterfront. The food in the restaurant is excelent and not too pricy. One of the best mid range Hotels we had during our trip.

In Vacciago of Ameno, in a panoramic area from 2 km to Orta San Giulio, a spacious restaurant in which you will enjoy international and regional cuisine. The hotel is fully equipped for banquets, ceremonies and also for dinner by candlelight.
This is a simple hotel with no frills but has excellent hospitality. The greeting on arrival was warm and friendly and that was also the case throughout the stay. We had booked a lake view room. The room was basic (first time I had seen a candlewick bedspread for decades but comfortable with a very good bathroom. There was a very small balcony but the spectacular view of lake Orta was breathtaking. We dined in the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in Orta. Good quality, reasonably-priced food accompanied by a very good (and fairly priced) bottle of Barolo. Breakfast was also excellent with freshly cooked eggs served at the table. Much better than the bun-fights in the much more expensive hotels we used on this trip. At £67 for the night including breakfast it was outstanding value.

A simple old hause in the middle of the Nature , with the Monte Rosa in front!!!the pleasure of the natural relax , without traffic, no cars no bad sound...only good air, nature and some times my music!!!
Absolutely precious little spot tucked away in a luxurious hill, where all you can here is the sound of nature. Cozy and welcoming, our 19 months daughter adored the perfumed garden and we loved the chilly night under a comfy duvet. Yummy breakfast left us all ready and restored, an excelled refuge from a hectic life. Thank you Giacomone for your hospitality and warmth!
