The room was enormous, the bed comfortable and the shower and bath in the ensuite excellent. Alba Iulia is well worth a visit to see the Citadel, and I would recommend staying at the Marylou Pensuinea.

The entire guesthouse was renovated in the summer of 2018 with completely new furniture, stylish, modern and with exceptional quality the will ensure to our guests a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Reviewed By georgianan898The apartment we chose was perfect, two large rooms with double beds, very confy. Nice and clean bathroom, with everything one needs. Friendly staff. The only bad thing was the noise coming from the street.

Reviewed By Modi116This is a boutique hotel right next to the center of Alba Iulia on quite a busy street. This is a recently renovated old house, with a lot of attention to details. Most rooms face the interior yard, which makes the hotel very quiet. The interior terrace is very nicely decorated, with a few scattered tables along side the building. Staff are very young and did their best to make our stay perfect. And they did manage that! We would definitely go again.

It comprises of rooms and apartments fully equipped ( air-conditioned, free WI-FI, SMART TV, large rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, private parking, large fully equipped kitchen). We offer you a varied breakfast served in a pleasant atmosphere. The City Hall, the City Center and Alba Carolina Citadel are at only 5 minutes walk. We emphasis the cleanliness and try to offer our guests an extraordinary fresh and clean space. The building is CCTV-ed 24/24, as well as the parking and the nearest airport is Sibiu Airport (73 km away) or Cluj Napoca (90 km away). The transportation could be arranged upon arrival. We have created this concept out of a passion, the passion of hosting people in an extremely clean space. We are eager to promote our beautiful country and we are sure that each and every person that steps in our home will never forget us and the beautiful Citadel!

The owner himself received us and presented us with the room and the facilities. Finishings and cleanliness was outstanding. The apartment was warm and quiet, and the breakfast well prepared, served and divers. The girl preparing the breakfast was very attentive and receptive with our demands. A place to come back for sure!

Reviewed By Tiberiu_BaranyiIn the citadel close to the III-rd gate of the Alba Carolina fortress, you shall find the Medieval Hotel. The location is unique I can assure you. Parking is on the street and they have a few free of charge places but even if you don't catch those you can pay via app about 5 euro/day for the parking, so it is not that bad. The courtyard is generous - but the restaurant located inside the courtyard was closed. Check-in /check-out fast - however for the check-in formalities it can be a hustle to fill in the paper work on some very low tables in the lobby. Staff very helpful and polite - nothing to complain. The room had furniture reminding us of the past centuries - bed very comfortable, cleanliness at the highest level, minibar loaded (and the prices are not too high). And A/C is installed - so for the hot summer days its very nice to enjoy a cool room. Bathroom with all amenities available - even tooth brush was available if you forgot your own. Breakfast in the courtyard, courtyard that is situated on the top of the Saxon bastion in the fortress - a great ambiance - in terms of choice there was a good variety of food- so everybody can find something of their liking. Overall a very good hotel I recommend you try it.

Reviewed By RomeoP819We’ve booked by phone 2 nights accommodation but when we’ve arrived at the destination after a tiring trip Bucharest-Alba Iulia we’ve been told at the reception bu Mrs. Vanessa that they have one room available only for the first night but for the second night the hotel is fully booked. at 10 o'clock at night we had to look for another hotel because of the incompetence of staff
