I used to eat here all the time. Wonderful people, good service.
Unfortunately the cook started using dark and cartilage-laden meat in the Butter Chicken, both of which any Indian chef will tell you is not acceptable. I asked for an "all-white meat" Butter Chicken and even offered to pay more for it, but I was told it was "hard to separate out just the white meat" (?).
Since dark meat and cartilage have no place in Butter Chicken, I have not returned since. A shame too, because the sauce was probably the best I've ever tasted. But cheaping-out on the quality of meat is a great way to ruin a perfect dish. I'd rather pay a little more for the proper dish.

We are on holiday from Stockton in the U.K. And magwyers has been a regular return place for us with its great atmosphere, good food and drink. The staff are really top class and so pleasant can't wait to come back to Canada next year.

This is a really busy restaurant -- but that's a sign of good things in the kitchen! We made a reservation for Saturday night and I would strongly recommend calling in advance coz the place was packed! The decor is very charming an reminded us of a recent cruise through the Greek isles. It's not too "kitchy", but you definitely feel like you are going to be having an authentic experience. Lovely archways and columns and the tables are set with fresh linens, fresh flowers and candles. The manager was extremely attentive (we loved the Ouzo) and our server was very friendly and fun!!

My wife and I go there at least 3 times a month and we absolutely love it.Chris the owner is very friendly and so is the staff the food is awesome steak on a bun,burgers ,poutin onion rings everything thing we had here is very good and fresh.summer is great with lots of entertainment to.

A friend referred me to this restaurant to take my family to for breakfast ... found a wonderful family style restaurant with exceptional comfort food (lots of interesting menu options) and a friendly helpful staff all at very reasonable prices. Portions are large. Highly recommend this gem!

Delish. We went to Pizza Pino based on a trip advisor recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The panzerotto is huge and I could only eat 1/2 but my husband managed to eat through his. Makes great leftovers. Bring your appetite for this lunch.

Dined with family at a favourite spot in Ajax, gradually becoming our least favourite. I feel this is my second home and have enjoyed dining and celebrating here numerous times!! However, consistency has become a problem, it is hit and miss when ordering from the menu. Prices have gone up, fair enough, but quality of the food has changed drastically. Last evening they offered as a special Spaghetti and Meatballs for $15.00. One of the ladies in our group ordered it, only to be disappointed. A bowl of pasta already tossed with sauce so it was dry, meatballs were fair and was accompanied with two hard slivers of garlic toast. She had to ask for hot pepper flakes and cheese as they weren’t offered. When they finally arrived the cheese (not sure what it was) literally came in a thimble size container. This meal was grossly over priced, a salad would have helped justify the cost!! The gentlemen at the next table ordered a meal from the specials offered and wasted no time complaining when it arrived. He ordered jerk chicken, it was a chicken leg with a couple of dollops of jerk seasoning and a spoonful of rice. He was upset as he expected he would get a chicken breast. Again the meal was overpriced for the quality and quantity of food he received. The server listened to the complaint but at NO time did a manager address the man or his concerns. This has become common practice having observed this on numerous occasions. Staff and management are friendly and courteous but when you voice a concern it’s not appreciated! To reiterate it’s hit and miss and that’s sad given it used to be spot on every time. Not my first complaint, but it will be the last.

I know I've reviewed this location before but it was another great experience. We arrived at 5pm for dinner and sat on the bar side. It has a really nice atmosphere with the fire place burning and the dimmed lights. The server was amazing, The food was as usual, fantastic. I had the stuffed chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Great Experience!

the pizza is the way to go, I would recommend not to deviate. Got Lamb shank as a main-would not recommend Got oyster as an app- would not recommend (not fresh) Stick to truly italian on this menu if you want to enjoy your experience.
