Find out what Sushi restaurants to try in Ashgabat. Nestled between the Kopet Dag range and the Kara Kum desert, Ashgabat is a flat, sometimes dusty city twinkling with unique architecture. As a marker of Turkmenistan's official neutrality, the city's most recognizable monument, the Neutrality Arch, rotates during the daylight hours, facing the sun throughout the entire day. The city is home to many mosques and markets, as well as important museums, including one memorializing the 1948 earthquake that decimated the population.

I've visited this place many times but long ago.Last couple of visits were terrible. Ashgabat such place where not much to go but better to seat at home rather than going there.Staff attitude. I went for the drink. Waitress just drop menu on the table and has gone... Forever! No jokes! Finally I went to the bar and ask drink. So, when I finish my drink no one offer me another one. Completely ignoring staff. I went out angry. I gave them another chance and visited place again. No way! I will never come back. And it's normal in this place. I sat for an hour and there were few more people who got the same experience.I must say food are fine there. But what you feel like when your overall experience aren't the same.Another annoying point. There always few people walking around and they are definitely not are guest.Nothing personal. Just really bad experience!

Upon arrival at the restaurant, I could not even imagine that it is so wonderful. The staff is very polite, smiling. Entering the restaurant we were met by a very friendly and sweet girl who escorted us to the table. The menu is very extended. We ordered steak, salad and lemonade. They brought everything very quickly, although I’m sure that the steak is cooked for a long time, it was tender and soft, the salad turned out to be very tasty and juicy. Yes, and not as expensive as it looks at first glance. I’m very pleased with the establishment, I will advise my friends and relatives, I will come here again for sure!

For Ashgabat, this is an entirely worthy option, especially for lunch. I've been here now four or five times, and have had no problem with the soups, pizzas, etc. that I've ordered. It is not amazing, but you will likely be happy with your order and the service is quick and responsive. It can get busy during lunch some times, but usually the speed of service is quite good.

I have eaten at this place many times, and the one complaint I have is the limited menu. There aren't that many choices, so I wish they would work on that. Other than that, this place offers delicious choices - their "Cappuccino" mushroom soup is fantastic, they used to do a great chicken with couscous that they've (sadly) discontinued, and they do very good seafood dishes. The sushi is also surprisingly good, you wouldn't expect sushi from an otherwise-european-food restaurant. They have a good wine selection, though it's highly overpriced. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, and the chef will come out and ask you if your food is how you like it. They also readily make substitutions if the ingredient is available. Overall, this place isn't for everyday dining, but for special occasions, I'd say. I'm not a fan of the interior, and their "VIP" room is just hideously decorated. There is a small semi-private area where there are just 3 tables, and that's my favorite place to sit. You're separated from the main room, but it's not completely closed off. There is also a very nice outdoor dining area, which is open during the warmer months. The minus there is that it's TOO WARM in the summer, and there are no fans - there used to be some big industrial fans, but clients apparently said they were too loud, so they were taken away. Probably best to sit outside in the spring and fall, when it isn't too warm. The live music is nice enough, adds to the experience. Thanks for visiting us. Please come again
