Blissful May time getaway
Reviewed By sarahmZ3310HSWe stayed here for 9 nights from mid-late May 2022 for a last minute holiday. This place did not disappoint! The entire complex is exceptionally clean all of the time. Staff are very attentive, friendly, and happy to help in any way. Pool side is very chilled with good cocktails available to purchase. Location is fab, a stones throw from the beach. A few minutes stroll to take the bus into Chania. You could also walk: takes around 40 mins. Plenty of tavernas and supermarkets within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, enough variety to have something different each day if you wanted. There is free parking available near hotel if you rent a car. Rooms are quite minimalistic (in a good way - very chill). We slept really well. The only feedback i have is to install some hooks on the back of the room door and bathroom door for towels, jackets etc. Our room fridge stopped working and was fixed immediately! Superb service. We will definately tely be back and have been recommending this place to family and friends. Thanks for a great stay

CHANIA HOTEL YAKINTHOS Near city and only 50 m. from the clearest sandy beach of Agii Apostoli. Yakinthos is very good solution for those people who want to enjoy their stay away from the crowds but still very close to all sights of interest and the resort hot spots of Chania.
Perfect Hotel and Fantastic Location
Reviewed By spowell1603The Yakinthos Hotel is a medium sized hotel that is perfectly formed. The rooms are of a very high standard particularly those facing the pool. The staff are friendly and superb and the rooms and hotel are cleaned every day. It is located just outside Chania City on a bus route and within walking distance of the city centre. The hotel is located just beside a wonderful beach, with plenty of very good restaurants nearby. In summary - a wonderful little corner of Crete - a gem of a hotel!!

Hotel Flamingos is situated 200 meters away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Agioi Apostoloi and 5km from the center of Chania. In our hotel, the atmosphere we create is derived by the personal touch of the owners as well as the friendly and attentive staff. Walking between the beautiful gardens, one can find 40 spacious, fully equipped apartments, a wonderful romantic restaurant, an open roof-garden bar a swimming pool with childrens section and a Spa.

Reviewed By GeeCee68We needed a decent break post lockdown so made a booking for Hotel Flamingos. Dimitris was great at making sure everything was perfect for when we arrived. Travelling with our 17 yo son we needed a good sized apartment and we were very pleased with the split level arrangement provided, giving us and our son space and privacy. The apartment had two bathrooms and showers, fridge and simple cooking facilities. It had a rooftop terrace and a separate balcony too. Perfect. The hotel is an easy walking distance to two good beaches (like 800 metres), with plenty of eating options close buy. Supermarkets (Lidl, Synka) are about 1km away, but shops for milk, water, fruit, beer are close by. Easy to get a cab into Chania (8 Euro) or a bus (2-3 Euro). We really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

The rooms, beds, swimingpool, breakfast and other facilities were beyond my expectations and kept nice and clean. Reviewed By albertbO4102HXI chose Okeanis Hotel by chance for a few days in the Chania area and it hit the spot ! Booking by phone and e-mail is incredibly efficient and fast. Despite arriving late in the evening, I was expected. Nice! Delicious my first breakfast in Crete the next morning by the beautiful pool ... Great location minutes across the park and several (!) Beaches to choose from, 300 meters to the bus 15 minutes to the center of Chania. Choice of restaurants and cafes nearby Hotel itself in a quiet nice street (what I like) Despite the rented car, I did not use it because there was no need. Very new, clean and comfortable rooms. Comfortable bed. New clean bathroom But most importantly, exceptionally friendly service and staff in the hotel At the end of my Crete tour it was a pleasure to return to Okeanis Resort again for a few days Best wishes and thanks to the Okeanis crew!

The Owner overbooked his apartment on purpose
Reviewed By Teuvo MI Booked an apartment from Sorta Apartments four months before our holiday. Waited for the holiday and then the owner e-mailed me two weeks before the trip that he did a mistake and he had overbooked the apartment. He just said that I have to cancel my booking. I replied that I cannot cancel it because there was only two weeks time to find another place to stay and it was High season on July. He didn't answer to that e-mail ever. Two weeks was the time that you can cancel the booking without any additional costs (on a booking site where I made the booking), so it was pretty clear that he did it on purpose. He waited until the end of time if someone would cancel his booking, no one canceled, so then he tried to cancel my booking in a way that no one would know about the overbooking. He told to the booking site that I want to cancel my booking (which I didn't want, obviously), and if I push the button on the E-mail he sent to me, no one would ever know what he had done. I don't know how good the apartment is, but the owner is crooked, Beware!

Reviewed By Loubie9320Basic rooms but spotlessly clean, traditional and excellent food in the evening and an excellent choice of things for breakfast, including eggs of your choice cooked to order. The staff here are second to none; warm, welcoming, friendly. Some lovely tavernas close by and only a few minutes to the beach. This is one place I will definitely be visiting again :)

Very good basic hotel apartment
Reviewed By silke395Very good basic hotel apartment (apartment 114) Nice little 2 star hotel with 10 apartments in central Agii Apostoli After a little misunderstanding upon our arrival (we were apparently not expectet), we (senior couple) were assigned a nice spacious 1 bedroom apartment. There were 2 good single beds 90 cm x 200 cm (could stand as a double bed or separated) with comfortable mattresses + a sofa bed - also full adult size. Included in the price were free safe, free wifi (which occasionally went a bit sluggish inside the apartment, but always OK on the balcony) and free, functioning, quiet air conditioning we could regulate ourselves. It had the smart finesse that it turned off automatically when we removed the key card from the room or if the balcony door was open for several minutes. Very environmentally friendly and economical !! However, with the small minus that we couldn't charge our electronics when we were away from home !! There was nice little east facing balcony with small cafe's table and 2 chairs + drying rack. Nice little bathroom with excellent shower, which would however feel a little small for big people. Possibly. a few towel / clothes hooks would benefit, just as exhaust was lacking. There was plenty of hot and cold water. There was small kitchenette with sink, 1 hotplate, toaster, filter-coffee machine, kettle and small fridge with small freezer built in. In addition, the most necessary kitchen utensils (though a little random selection) not suitable for larger cooking, but fine for making breakfast / afternoon coffee yourself. A light source was missing in the kitchen area. Also mentioned is a hood that was neither connected to power nor exhaust. But when we weren't cooking, it wasn't a problem for us There was a small television that we didn't try. Cabinet and drawer space were reasonable. Nice size apartment for 2 people. On the roof of the hotel is a small swimming pool which we did not use as we had the lovely beaches so close. The hotel is approx. 300 m from a lovely bathing bay with several other beaches close by. Short distance to 2 large supermarkets + several smaller ones nearby. Lots of good restaurants within a few hundred meters, and the bus to / from Chania stops almost right outside the door. A sweet and nice cleaning assistant, who was the staff we had the most contact with, kept the apartment clean and tidy - with cleaning 5 X weekly and change of towels and bed linen 2 x weekly. If you are looking for a hotel where all the basics are OK, without being flashy in any way, this hotel is a really good offer that we would like to give our very best recommendation Regards Silke
