Amazing views and sunsets
Reviewed By RachJarvJust returned from a week at this lovely hotel, which was chosen because of it's location- right on the beach with a nice pool area and not only stunning sunsets, but views across to the coast of Albania. Acharavi is also a 20 / 30 minute stroll up the beach to Roda. The hotel is a short walk down from the top end of village/strip road, (think its road 9 ) It is not a bustling place but that might change as the season moves on. There are some nice tavernas both on the beach front and also on the top road, but we also found Harry's bar in the old village - really friendly place, and a more quirky bar further down called Poet's corner. Our room was in the main building and this was only because I asked on checkin, as I was told when I arrived it was in a block way back up the complex - on checking where this block was later on, we were pleased that we had pushed for the room we'd got as it would definitely have changed our opinion of this holiday. If you book direct or through Jet2 my advice would be to message the hotel directly to request a Seaview or newer room as near to main hotel block as possible. The restaurant was great, serving an excellent choice at both breakfast and dinner - food was really tasty and there was something to suit everyone - could not fault it at all. There is a quiet area for sunbathing and another swimming pool at the Filorian Apartments with Apnoea Taverna which is also part of the hotel - Once we found this area we went there everyday for the quiet and relaxation - this made our holiday more enjoyable too, as there were a few families/young children, and it could get quite noisy at times when trying to relax and recharge. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely and polite and always service with a smile, they all work really hard. Thines Bar and Apnoea Taverna serve nice food - it can be a little more expensive than some of the offsite places, but not too bad if you want to stay on site. Small shop nearby to get basics and bottled water a lot cheaper. There is a larger supermarket at the top of the road. Rooms and amenities and all other areas were very clean and tidy. Towels in rooms are changed every 2 days and no H/keeping on a Sunday, but if you ask at reception they will sort out replacements for you. If you are travelling light, there was a hairdryer, hand wash and a shower gel/shampoo dispenser. Small fridge in the room , and you could get pool towels. Safety deposit boxes were in main reception area - which for me was a problem, hence the reason I also requested and accepted the room in the main hotel block, as this was in the actual room. Overall we liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again, but definitely with direct booking/requesting main hotel. Finally, the transfer is quite long, and there was a long wait at Corfu airport, moreso because we had hand luggage only and it was so busy, would probably book a private transfer next time for arrival.

A well thought out and planned swimming and sunbathing area. The pools and pool areas are all very clean and so is everywhere else. Breakfast was outstanding and could not be faulted in any way. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure that you are looked after without being too intrusive. The evening meal was delicious and so was the wine that George recommended. The bar area overlooks the beach and serves a great Pina Colada and other cocktails. We had a ground floor room with a terrace which had a sea view. The room was large with a nice kitchenette area which we didn't need to use as there are some tavernas a short walk away. The bed was large and very comfortable and the location was very peaceful at night and we went to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. The only downside is that we had to leave after 6 nights and we wished we had booked for a longer stay. Thank you to ALL of the staff (even the ones not seen) for an amazing stay! Reviewed By Jamesyboy96What a perfect hotel in a beautiful northern location of Corfu. I am surprised this hotel is only rated 3*, everything about it is levels above. The friendly service from all the staff is immediately so welcoming from check in to breakfast, to the bar on the evening. The rooms are smart, tidy and have great views. AC works perfectly and hotels quiet at night. Pool is lovely and quiet area all day, no ridiculous sunbed reserving in this hotel even when the hotel is nearly full. Location is perfect for a couple minutes walk to loads of tavernas, about a 10 minute walk to the beach where there are even more options. Genuinely can't fault this hotel

Unfortunately BIG minus for very low quality of breakfast: old coffee machine, disgusting juices, old egs(black inside),ham very low quality. No internet in rooms, you can survive but come on- its 21 century...

Reviewed By FatboyDevonWe spent 2 weeks at Mr and Mrs white Corfu in May this year, we wanted a relaxed stay which is exactly what we got. The team are beyond helpful and everyone does all they can to make your stay as chilled as you want it to be. Breakfast has the added bonus of being seved until 11.30 and the pool bar is available during the day. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary while in Corfu and we were treated to bubbly and and a platter of fruits around the pool...such a lovely touch. We genuinely could have stayed longer and were sad to leave. This review would happily have been a 5 star had it not been for a couple of things, I agree with a previous reviewer that the sunbeds are looking tired already and we stayed a couple of weeks after the opening for the season. The wooden boards the beds were on are also already showing signs of wear. We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites, the bathrooms of which don't really produce the luxury you would want if it really was your honeymoon! Did it spoil the holiday, absolutely not, but as you pay extra for these rooms you would hope you had the best. I would happily recommend Mr and Mrs White to friends, but perhaps explore the other rooms available.

Reviewed By AMSStafordshireFrom the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble for Stefano's and his team we are in two double room the biggest apartments we have ever had, the balcony runs from both bedrooms. The pool area is spotlessly clean and safe, Breakfast is a buffet and at 7eros each is excellent value. I cannot praise this hotel enough it is quite and friendly a perfect holiday Thank you Stefano's for making our holiday perfect

Just 150m away from the 8 km long beach in the area called Almyros Acharavis, Liberty's Studios offer a unique experience. The connection with the nature and the sea is strong and the feeling of freedom and relaxation overwhelms the Guests. The low-rise studios very simple in style are surrounded by well taken care of grass and olive trees. The rooms are simply furnished, equipped for self-catering needs, sunny and airy, able to accommodate parties of two persons. Lambis and his family also own the restaurant nearby and they are more than willing to offer you all the special Greek tastes at their best.

Reviewed By linda dThe owner, Lavos, could not have been more helpful. We ate at his adjoining Taverna quite a few times, food good and reasonably priced. Very clean room, bed large and comfortable, no problem with mosquitoes, as he provided a plug-in device and there was a screen. We found the area unspoilt and peaceful. The nearest supermarket was, unfortunately, almost 20 minutes away and the town was a 40 minutes stroll along the beach. The beach was about 400 metres away. We would certainly recommend the beach taverna, Petra, the waitress Pheo, was a star.

Since the Hotel was closed for two years, now it has new management, new staff, new kitchen & new equipment! The Hotel is located in the center of the old town of Acharavi, about a 5 minute walk from the beach, just 2 minutes to the closest super market and the bus station is just around the corner. It has a children play ground and pool. It has also got a NEW modern Bar for a lot of fun and cocktails. The apartments are equipped with kitchen ,two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The studios have kitchenettes and a separated bedroom. There are apartments and studios with pool view and they are surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers.

The pool was lovely the only niggle I had was check out was 11.00am but shuttle was 7.00pm and there was nowhere really to leave our cases had to leave them in open area with toilet near the pool

Reviewed By nova390My first time travelling solo after passing of my wife I returned to Acharavi and stayed at Tassos apartments. Ideal location as it’s a short walk to the beach and to the centre of town. The family owners are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are more than adequate and are cleaned regularly. Had a wonderful stay and aim to be back just like many regulars.

Fun. Kind. Convenient

Located perfectly between Axharavi beach and village, Hotel Ilena is clean and simply furnished, with excellent hosts. Kyana does everything to make one feel cared for- with a range of beautiful breakfasts- from a yoghurt honey muesli walnut fig option to bacon eggs and tomatoes. Freshly squeezed orange and great coffees are never in short supply. And the figs and incredible tomatoes are grown on a local family farm. Day trips within Corfu were efficiently arranged by a tour operator who brings the tickets to the hotel. All Covid regulations are adhered to and there is a doctor close by for fit to fly tests. We are definitely returning!
